My prediction :
Tester>Sea
up<bisu
estro<mbc
magma<light

MBC wins 3:1
SonuvBob: Yes, the majority of TL is college-aged, and thus clearly stupid.

Damn, too bad I won't be at home for this, I think UpMagic vs Bisu is gonna be awesome. My vote goes to MBC.

Tester < Sea (ITS GEOMETRY FFS -.-)
Up > Bisu (bisu crumbles on monty)
Estro < MBC (how can i vote against pusan, and thezerg (one of the most accomplished 2v2 players in MBC))
Magma > Light (Magma always pulls these surprises out... grrr..)
ACE: Up > Bisu

Estro wins 3-2...
however, if
Ace = up vs light/sea/pusan
then MBC will win imo

on a side note, MBC seems so depleted without july =(

looks like both are going all out.
Game 1. Both really strong but I think Teste... damn it's Geometry, so Sea
Game 2- This is proleague and Monty Hall. Bisu isn't playing to well in proleague so Up's marines will take this.
Game 3- I dunno bout 2v2s really so since Pusan is playing I go with MBC
Game 4- Light will take this.

estro got a shot at 3-2 with mbc lacking decent zerg players (no july no game baby)

I would like to see:

Tester > Sea
UpMagiC > Bisu
MBC > eSTRO
maGma > Light

I have a feeling though that it might go the complete opposite though so I won't hold my breath on any of these match ups. -_-

Morning everyone.

Tuned into sea - tester in time to see tester fail TWO storms against a single SCV building a CC.

Looks fairly even in bases. 4 each?

Sea pushing across the map with a LOT of tanks/vults. Tester trying to defend with goon/zeal/HT and a couple new arbiters. Looking good for sea though.

Sea takes out tester's original natural (at 11) and leaves some tanks containing with turrets.

At the same time he pushes tester's couple bases at 7 (starting and nat) with the rest of his force.

Tester doing his best to remass a force, but sea is in a great position to win as he controls the map right now.

Tester does manage to break the contains left at his two starting position bases, but the one at 7 is under heavy seige again and is going down. His only working base now is at 12.

Tester assaults sea's expo at 2 as he loses his at 7.

Sea researching EMP and has a couple vessels out.

Big fight in the middle.

Sea has 90% tanks vs a large force of zeal/goon/HT and one arbiter. Sea loses most of his tanks, 3 of them get stasised and die afterward. Sea is forced back with his remaining forces a little bit, but is still in a very strong position economically.

Sea starts another expo at 8 as he doesn't have much money flowing in anymore, but tester finds it and takes it out before it gets up.

Sea gets an EMP off on the arbiter (I believe it hit, it was close).

Sea expands to 2 again and moves his force northward.

Another fight erupts in the middle of the map as sea pushes toward tester's only working base... only 3 tanks stasised again... tester, again with a smaller force than sea, somehow takes out more of sea's army than he loses, but sea just has too much in the end and tester GGs knowing he can't keep this up.

Sea wins.

Sorry I was a little slow there, gomtv was lagging a bit at certain points (such as when I didn't see how one of the arbiters died).

Sea had a clear advantage after his initial push with what seemed like 30 or so tanks (and a lot of vultures too), but it turned out to be a closer game than I thought.

Bisu probe jumps north for a FE, adds first gate at main shortly after.

That same probe pylon jumps into up's base but dies to a couple rines. Early gas and factory from up, lifts his rax. No bionic?

Bisu gets a second probe in and scouts two factories.

Up expanding now to his south nat.

Bisu with two gates so far, adding robotics.

Up pushes with his couple rines, 4 vults, and 3 tanks toward bisu's northern expansion, and shuts off the passage toward it with his landed rax!

Bisu still easily defends it with 6 or so goons and nice micro, taking the entire attacking force out.

Got flood controlled.

Bisu fishing for a place to reaver drop, but finds nothing but turrets which eventually take out the shuttle I believe.

Bisu pushes up with a group of goons toward up's new expansion at his eastern nat, but mines and a defensive force are there and he waits outside. At this point both have 3 bases.

Bisu has shuttle speed and tries a storm drop at up's lower nat, but it fails miserably as a ton of vults show up and kill both templar that bisu dropped BEFORE the two zeals he had in the shuttle for some reason.

Up pushing bisu's middle nat with a few units, but bisu is pushing up's top nat HARD while he simultaneously defends just before the nexus is taken out.

Bisu backs off a bit because of the large amount of tanks Up brings in defense in close quarters. Up pushes toward him and a fight erupts, bisu coming out on top easily.

Up sends a bunch of vults to finish off the nexus at bisu's middle expo, and after some fighting there manages to do so.

Up building expansions along the west side of the map and toward bisu's base. Bisu has expansions along the north now though, including the island at 1.

Bisu pushes out from his main to the west with a huge force of goons/zeals. Closes down Up's expo at 6. Taking out 9 too.

Up meanwhile takes out Bisu expos at 3 and 4 with vults/tanks (of course).

Bisu storm drops up's econ a bit.

Right now the island expo is the only thing saving Bisu, as Up has clear control otherwise.

The fight is now over the center with Bisu having the lesser force in appearance, but with some VERY nice storms on Up's retreating tanks manages to gain a large advantage.

Bisu clears out Up's middle expo and pushes into his main. Loses a decent amount of units including his last templar and all his zeals to mines though!

Stray goons move to Up's northern natural and start clearing it.

Bisu has seemingly turned it around with that battle in the middle, and now it's Up fighting just to hold his expansions.

Bisu places a zeal at the other island expo at 7, but Up has a dropship transporting tanks/vults up to 1 to take out Bisu's island! Bisu manages to drop some zeals and a goon, but Up takes them out with very nice tank micro. Bisu drops a few more units and takes the tanks out though.

Bisu pushing Up's main again and it's not looking good for Up.

Up has a few vults and tanks putting pressure on Bisu's western nat, but a couple zeal bombs end that attempt... and Up says GG as Bisu is having a good time in up's main. Bisu wins!

Up didn't find out about the island until WAY too late, and for a while it was the only consistant base Bisu had running. By the time Up went to attack it, it was too late and he didn't have the force he needed anyhow.

Yeah the 1ocl expo fed Bisu all game, Up didn't even scout it, I don't know what he was thinking, there's no way Bisu could have pushed him back for so long, nonstop forces, without some additional expo.

Right now, after the games we've seen so far on monty, no player really has an excuse for not devoting a lot of attention toward the islands if the game lasts past 10-15 minutes.

Just ra vs stork should have been enough warning, but this game is another big example.

2v2 @ chariots of fire

MBC:
Pusan - brown Protoss @ 5
thezerg - white Zerg @ 1
eSTRO:
soha - purple Protoss @ 11
cool - yellow zerg @ 7

No proxies or crazy trickery so far. Both zergs expanding with seeming muta tech.

Pusan throws up a fast robotics instead of a stargate though!

Pusan pops out a shuttle and puts some goons up on the middle ledge, killing an overlord and moving across the map. Zerg is with him with mutas and scourge as they head toward 11.

Cool only has a couple mutas and some zerglings that can't help.. soha has 4 or so sairs.

Cool pops out some more mutas and starts taking out zerg's base.

Pusan's goons have stopped all mining from soha.

Pusan has most of soha's base destroyed now.. soha throws his probes at the goons but doesn't do much.

Cool sends his mutas to pusan's base but they're met by goons and some muta/scourge and have to retreat.

Soha has nearly nothing left but cool still comes in with mutas and takes out the 5 goons slowly killing the last buildings.

With some remaining sairs and cool's superior mutas, eSTRO rules the skies.

Pusan has expanded, and also has 6 goons at zerg's damaged base protecting it as it rebuilds from muta attack.

Pusan continues pumping goons.

Cool has 2 expansions now, and is starting even another. His mutas and soha's sairs are roaming trying to find things to kill.

Zerg has a few queens now, but his main is undefended as pusan's goons left and died.

A queen gets an ensnare off on cool's mutas and some scourge kill a couple, but it seems futile.

Cool brings in another group of mutas and severely damages zerg's base.

Pusan has two dark archons now in addition to all his goons! Also has two expansions to cool's three.

Pusan takes out one of the expansions with three DT!

Flood control is meanwhile owning me.

Cool's mutas catch a ton of pusan's goons and two HT in his main off guard and wreck them!

Pusan pulls off an amazing maelstrom on the mutas as they pass one of his expos, but only 6 or so mutas die because pusan has nearly no units there to kill them.

Cool now takes the time fo finish off thezerg for good. He has a LOT of mutas now, but just a little maelstrom and storm could prove devastating....

And JUST after typing that, about half of the mutas die to just that fate as they approach Pusan moving units down from the cliff!

Thezerg takes his couple leftover drones and starts building random things on cool's creep. I didn't see what he was building before it got waxed by mutas but everyone laughs. :D

Another fight near one of coolss expos off the base of the cliff breaks out with pusan moving his mass goons off the center onto the ground below. More storm seals the end of the mutas for good and eSTRO GGs!

I didn't see exactly what happened to all of the leftover sairs in the end, but soha did leave a couple minutes before the game was over. The 6-7 sairs managed to kill a couple of Pusan's shuttles at various times, but I'm not sure if they were lost trying more tactics like that (Pusan had a ton of goons at every stage of the game) or just proved to be ineffective.

In other news, both yesterday and today were my first times doing any sort of live commentary (mainly because no one else was doing it, I'm certainly not any good at it) and both matches ended 3 - 0. Fail! -.-
