Why do I feel that if you proxy, even if it's found, you will still be soooooooo much ahead?

this sucked so horribly. it couldn't have been just the proxy, reach did something else wrong...

he didn't add the extra gates when he should have, and everything else went wrong after that. at least he got some good practice for the osl...

The dumb thing is, I don't think proxy sets you back that much. Whereas the person playing against the proxy has to:

a) Kill the gates/pylon
b) Protect the probes
c) Tech as much as possible so that you could be ahead
