We have a bidding duel of 24 hours after the deadline is done.
Correct?

Player A bids 50$, Auction Starts, runs seven days
Payer B bids 55$ (let's say Day 2 of the auction)
Player C bids 75$ (on Day 7 of the auction)
-> correct, added dates to stress out the point

However, if player C bids 24 hours 1 minute before the end of the deadline, he can try to snipe with 'only' a $5 raise to 60$

Yes, but also

Player B bids 55$ on Day 2 (or any other day), no further bids until the deadline runs out

If someone outbids you, the winner of the bid earns the right to challenge Oya to a Best of Seven.
Oya can win the bet in order to not play for the title.

Everyone I'm stepping away from the challlenge and broodwar as a whole except occasional fun 2v2. I'm pretty frustrated and dissapointed in remastered and honestly don't want to waste any more of my time trying to play trash games with tr8 on extra high. I will be donating 20$ to the prize pool for my troubles and I wish everyone else good luck!!!
