Light[Alive](T-MBCGame) <Monty Hall> Savior(Z-CJ)
Light is 0-2 so he is out already(and I doubt that Light has prepared enough for this game, it's only for his honor and he knows that it's not easy to beat Savior). While Savior is 2-0 so far, from the recent results I think that Savior is going to take this one.
Group B - Game 5
Bisu(P-MBCGame) <Python> Hwasin(T-STX)
This is probably the most interesting game today, Hwasin showed good results in both proleague and the individual leagues lately, he is 2-0 so far in the Daum OSL Ro16. While Bisu has showed good results in the individual leagues, he hasn't showed good results in the proleague, but since OSL is individual league, it seems like we're going to see a good game(hope so). Bisu is also 2-0 in the Daum OSL Ro16, so this game is the "who finishes the Ro16 with 3-0" game.
Even though hwasin is the underdog in this game, I think that Hwasin is going to win this one.
Group C - Game 5
Bifrost(T-OGN) <Hitchhiker> Iris(T-CJ)
There is nothing much to say about this game, Bifrost is 0-2 in the Daum OSL Ro16, so he is out unless Shark loses to Reach and Iris will lose to him(bifrost). probably not going to happen. Iris is 1-1 in the Daum OSL Ro16 (like Shark) so he has to win this game. I don't see Iris losing to Bifrost unless Bifrost cheeses (even though I don't think that Bifrost's cheese will work).
So I have to say that Iris is going to win this one.
Group D - Game 5
Upmagic(T-eSTRO) <Monghwan> GGPlay(Z-Hanbit)
If there is any good way to finish this day, it's probably this. Upmagic that trains TvZ even in his TvP games against the ZvT monster that played amazing against Nada and defeated Casy (yeah I know that Nada and Casy are in slump, but still, GGplay is playing good lately).
I haven't seen a TvZ in Monghwan so I have no idea how it's going to end. Upmagic is 1-1 in the Daum OSL Ro16 while GGplay is 2-0, so Upmagic has to win this game if he wants to stand a chance(unless Casy beats Stork, then all the 3 will be 1-2, but I doubt it).
All the ZvTs GGplay played (that I have seen), he won, so I think that GGplay is going to win this one.

I don't trust Bisu's PvT. Hwasin's TvP has been looking solid recently. Actually, all of his matchups have. Bisu's lost a huge string of PvTs in ProLeague.

Bisu's PvT will be his usual reaver into mass dragoons... Hwasin has played really great recently, especially in mid-late games, so I think he will be hard to take down head-to-head.

ah, the last Savior vs LighT game was on Longinus 2 when zerg's were like 0 wins on that map or something similar, and savior opened with a balsy 3 hatch before pool build and defeated Light with some holy shit play.
This time they face each other in yet another T>Z map. However this map is designed to bring out a lot of multitasking abilities, which savior is the master of. That and the fact that Light has nothing to play for except for pride, I'll give this one to saaaaavior!
As impressive as Hwasin's been, he's got no chance against Bisu on a straight-up map like Python.
Iris is still a TvT monster while Justin is an insecure failure who deserves nothing more than ODT.
GGPlay > UpMagiC because that's how we zergs roll.

Last time UpMagiC and GGPlay played against eachother GGPlay came out on top, but UpMagiC's play that game was stellar and he won all the battles he just couldn't get past the containment. Hopefully this time around he has some new tricks up his sleeves because he really does deserve to advance. He is by far the most innovative Terran I have seen so far strategy wise since Boxer in his olden days. Plus he is one of the few players that doesn't look like a girl!! LOL
For the other matches Bisu, sAviOr, and Iris seem like obvious picks to me.

This StarLeague seems really quite professionalized. The player vs player pre-game videos, even if sterilized, still look cool.

I imagine it is. I'm too lazy to pull that out, so I'm using TVants stream.
Light's depot at choke really saved him from more lings coming in. He deals with all lings in his base with scv/marine micro; loses 2 or 3 scvs and a marine.

They finish JUST IN TIME, with Light literally just out of range of the sunkens.

he started with a dt drop against hwasin's perfect, safe counterbuild, harassed like a champ with HUGE awareness. while catching up in units and expo, he watched for scans on his dts and harassed hwasin's main. then he went in with goons and sniped a cannon and harassed his expo with dts still, killing some scvs.
then hwasin moved out with a gamebreaker army and still got fucked up by bisu's army
then bisu made scouts and archons and raped him easily
it was a perfect case of "man fuck your counter build"

I just don't like Bisu. I especially don't like him for making scouts. There's no way someone can argue that he didn't make scouts just to rub it into Hwasin's face. =/

the harrass didn't do anything, hwasin just came out with all his vultures and tanks and didn't micro properly enough to kill bisu who had much less units defending then you would normally need to block what hwasin came with but held it off and then macroed off his 3 base for the win
the dts really didn't do anything

It forced Hwasin to think about gols, and it helped demoralise him enough to quit. Otherwise, who knows how long he would have stubbornly stayed on...

Well, it didn't rape him or anything but he killed several SCVs, marines, etc, and generally distracted him, without losing all of the DTs or any of the shuttles.

I think the dts were important. They distracted Hwasin from other tasks. They also kept him holed up in his base. It's like muta harrass. Even if the mutas don't kill stuff, their presence forces the other side to stay put. This allowed Bisu to build up unmolested for longer than was wise.

dts did alot, they made hwasin focus on defending rather than harrassing. bisu's multitasking is the best bar none. he killed a lot of shit, not necessesarily vital shit, but quite a few scvs and turrets, plus those dts are what helped rape the counter attack by hwasin when he had like 15 tanks, because hwasin already used all of his scan defending.
bisu likes to put constant pressure on people. the reason he built scouts was because he needed an air unit quickly, and carriers take too long. turrets are immobile and unupgraded goliaths are weak against the quite multifaceted army that bisu was pushing with towards the end there. the gas that hwasin used to make a goliath meant 1 less tank, so he couldnt stop the ground army, but he needed something that would have stopped the 6-7 or so scouts from killing tanks. he just didnt have enough resources at that timing in order to defend against what bisu could pull out that quick.

After calling Hwasin the "insurance terran" who will insure his advance to the elite 8, Hwasin said in an interview that Bisu "talks too much".

the 4 goons killing the natural turret and 2 dts caught him up a little, but it was still basically even with hwasin possibly slightly ahead
but bisu's superior micro and 1 reinforcement wave barely stopped hwasin's first push
the scouts were a nice touch after that

when we have terrans doing 1 fac cc like every fricken game. dts are far more aggressive and fun to watch than the P just expanding

Ohhh, ggplay defends with all lings. Nicely done, he kills everything with the lings, now the lings getting killed by vults on the way to magic's main.
Ggplay making more drones and the proxy fac is still alive. Lings try to finish it off, but vults defends. Ggplay needs something else than lings now or he's toast.

No turrets anywhere, looks bad for magic. Ggplay has his nat up and running and will harass now. Magic tries to kill drones at the nat, but is repelled.
Magic has no antiair whatsoever, nothing. Muta harass doing its thing, finally some golis and turrets get done, not that many losses though, a few scvs, like 5-6.

No antiair on nat, mutas really killing stuff, like 4-5 scv's. Ggplay needs an expo, or magic is gonna catch up.

Mutas still harassing and getting the odd scv, on the whole, magic looks a bit behind, but he is placing vults on the paths for drones so ggplay is not expanding at all.
Golis killed quite a few muta at magic's nat, mutas still harassing at main. GGplay is only making mutas right now.

The vults keep killing the expanding drones. GGplay REALLY needs an expo. He finally placed a hatch down.

on the 6 nat, min only. Vult sees it. Oh he made another hatch at 2 nat. Mutas killed the armory, smart, no upgrades for magic, he didn't lose a muta in that raid. Still only making mutas and harassing as well as he can. Looks good for ggplay, magic can't seem to defend that well and ggplay will have 2 expos up and running in a bit.
Bit muta vs goli fight, mutas come out on top. Looks really bad for magic.

GGplay has his expoes up and running, and magic has really few scv's, those mutas are really hurting him. Oh, BUFFER .
Vults go to harass the expoes, kills all the drones at 2 (there were only 2), and places mines at the hatch spots.
Right now we have up.magic with like 10 scvs in main and golis dying left and right to the muta. This is over.
