I saw a camera crew in there on Zeus's stream. They might have an official stream up later on in the day. They've had official streams for qualifiers before.

rain is literally just doing the mirror of the red protoss but with better economy and non-proxied gateways. seems like a straight forward win for rain moving forward.
AHAHHAHAHAHA rain manner pylons the mineral line of the protoss and then makes a cannon behind! red protoss never realizes it and ggs out. nice play rain

The last time I was got cannons behind my mineral line in 2009 on the Luna map TT.

nervousness and taxed multitask from zealot control
Ya I can see if it's an amateur that nerves could make him tunnel vision but still, that is a long time to not notice a cannon building beside your minerals lol
damn this really shows you the micro class between the best PvPer in the world and an amateur. This Protoss had an advantage after rain didnt really pressure with his 3 gate robo vs the amateur's 2 gate expand into 4 gate. Rain just pushed through with superior micro at probably only like a 1 goon advantage and crushed him. really questioning the no robo tech from the amateur though, on reaver at home wouldve really saved him there.
cute break by the blue protoss with a nice probe drill. unfortunately, rain has reaver tech now and is bringing his shuttle over to end the game. he tried going templar tech but its going to be too little too late. rain with a heavy natural too now.

1 goon advantage is quite a lot in early game pvp >.< specially in Rain's hands

shouldnt have been that much of a wash though. but in rain's hands i agree it's a lot. that's why I said you can tell the difference in skill.
Some quick thoughts on my break for those who can't read the brackets:
In Group A: Don't see who will knock out Shine here, he should qualify.
In Group B: is likely to be Rain vs Miso for the final
In Group C: If Cadenzie advances one more round she will likely face Best, the other semifinal will likely be Pusan v Sacsri
In Group D: I imagine Larva will breeze through this group, the only other name I recognize is ZJD/Soma (Fake JD), who could admittedly take the finals in ZvZ
In Group E: Artosis faces a bit of a gauntlet to qualify, having to beat Ggaemo, Piano and Mong
In Group F: None of the names stand out to me as being a particular threat to Action
So i had all but won my game 3 with a finished spire and 16lings vs 1 marine 2 vultures no ebay 2 factory no bunker no armoury no anti air at all... They watch the replay and award me the win then 15 mins later change their mind and tell me to regame i can't really argue cause my Korean isn't good enough so we end up waiting 20 mins for the other guy to fix his pc or something and then i end up getting my build countered this time and lost. Ooh my god

I think Korean PCBang owners/workers should've played this game more as a kid.
It's Afreeca's obligation to ensure the PC bang they're renting out can play Starcraft in LAN instead of online on battle.net's crappy servers for an major tournament like this.
EDIT: Nevermind it looks like they were using LAN from Larva's stream
Is it possible to watch the qualifiers on anything besides afreecatv? Regardless of the transcode settings, the stream always perma buffers after about a minute of watching.

well this is some top notch horse shit. How do you make a ruling and backpedal on it an entire 15 minutes. Jesus at least Kespa officials would stick by their terrible rulings as bad as they might be.
3P 3T 6Z Also I said earlier that ZJD/FakeJD lost in an earlier group, but there's another guy with the same name in Group 12 so I dunno which one is the REALFAKEJD
Personally I've wanted to see ZJD qualify for a while now but there are already so many zergs
Last ASL guemchi lost a fun game against sharp iirc. He also had a nice series against flash in asl 2 i think. I like the guy, he doesnt have the strongest mechanics of all the top protosses, but he certainly is clever enough to find his way to the ro16. Hope him and sacsri can upset their way as far as possible.
Larva talks about his frustration at the management of the qualifiers. Some key points:
- Larva had to move his seat FIVE times because of various issues (no PS2, 144 Hz, game crashing, etc.) - He arrived early at 9am and expected to be out by 1pm, but because he had issues with the tech people who arrived later started playing first. - Larva's worried that this will happen in the Busan qualifiers. While moving seats he saw d/c screens everywhere. - The response he got when he complained was to restart the computer and restart Starcraft. - Though it's ambiguous whether it's the PC Bang at fault or the server, there are no reports of people playing at home being d/ced. There was a similar issue in KSL when they used Windows 7, so Larva thinks it's the PC Bang at fault. - Larva mentions others affected: Cadenzie who was advantaged and d/ced, a player who was d/ced six times, and Secret/Oz getting d/ced FIFTEEN times. Though Oz is a free soul type so he just laughed it off.
If they used a VPN server to host the games on Starcraft in its LAN mode, and you're saying it occurred only with Windows 7, then it could be that the VPN software itself has bugs for Windows 7.
I didn't see Stork's name showing up in any of the 12 groups. Does anyone know if he's he not trying at all or just strategises and will only play the next two where the pool might be weaker to begin with?
Bah, that blows, especially reading what happened to Cadenzie. Let's hope it was the PC bang, I thought the technical issues were over now we were back with afreeca but I guess everybody has to deal with this nonsense occasionally

Now we just need to track down ZOzSucksBallsWithoutMe
