The last time KT Rolster won by a score of 3-1 with only Flash losing was in 28th June 2009 against Woongjin Stars. 2009/06/28: Flash loses but KT Rolster wins 3-1 against Woongjin Stars 2008/06/28: Flash loses but KT Rolster wins 3-1 agaisnt MBC Game HERO Something about the month of June defies the laws of nature it seems.

Talking about Flash being the reason for a KT-loss, one would also have to mention 2011-12 SK Planet Proleague. I still get mad/sad when I think back, Flash lost both his matches, the 2nd of the series to Fantasy and the ace-match to Bisu, even though the team had pulled it back to a 3-3. Almost broke my heart at the time. Even though against the other-best Terran and best Protoss of all time, you were so convinced that Flash would win anything given his records at the time... and then he even got knocked out by Fantasy again in the OSL semis, too.

Letting your team down by losing twice in an important post-season series, despite the rest of your team carrying their weight to give the ace player two opportunities to seal the series, is definitely one of the worst things that could happen to a player. However, it was almost a right of passage that numerous team aces had to suffer through: 1) Anytime losing both his matches in SKY 2006 ProLeague R2 post-season series versus MBC Game HERO 2) Bisu losing both his matches in Shinhan 2008 ProLeague post-season series versus OGN Sparkyz 3) Leta losing both his matches in Shinhan 2008/2009 ProLeague post-season series versus CJ Entus 4) Great losing both his matches in Shinhan 2008/2009 ProLeague post-season series versus CJ Entus 5) Jaedong losing both his matches in Shinhan 2008/2009 ProLeague finals series versus SK Telecom T1 6) SnOw losing both his matches in Shinhan 2009/2010 ProLeague post-season series versus SK Telecom T1 7) By.Baby losing both his matches in Shinhan 2009/2010 ProLeague post-season series versus MBC Game HERO 8) Pure losing both his matches in Shinhan 2009/2010 ProLeague post-season series versus MBC Game HERO 9) BeSt losing both his matches in Shinhan 2010/2011 ProLeague finals versus KT Rolster 10) Flash losing both his matches in SK Planet 2011/2012 ProLeague S1 finals versus SK Telecom T1 Flash wasn't alone in receiving such public humiliation. By constantly carrying the burden of being the go-to ace for your team, there is bound to be that off-day where you screw up everything for your team. Professional players who failed utterly to gain the trust of their team never had to face such disgrace. I think that famous Michael Jordan quote is somewhat appicable for this topic: "I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
