I see Light being Sky on Sparkle. There is a big misperception that Island Maps favor Protoss but that is not true at all. That might be true on Semi-Islands where toss can Recall. But on pure Island Maps, T is actually favored by 3% in TvP. I compiled all the old stats on TLPD. 3% advantage is a nice little advantage. And I think it is because Dropships are faster even than speed upgraded Shuttles. And to top it off, Goliaths range are so ridicuously long that it is hard to survive attacking Terran. I predict Light and Shuttle advance. But I hope Shine and Shuttle advance.

Ladies and gentlemen I finally present a prediction only half as detailed as what the staff plans on predicting of each group. Group A The group starts with one of the strongest PVP'ers Shuttle on the island map Sparkle taking on Sky. Shuttle's journey into the tournament starts off shaky with a 1-2 loss in the group D Finals in Seoul against Miso. He earned his spot by defeating Sharp in the Busan Group E Finals 2-0 instilling that his PVT is still in top form. While Sky breezes through the Seoul Group K Finals dispatching Last 2-0. I choose Shuttle (with the more experience) as the favor to beat Sky easily with great shuttle and reaver control. Next matchup is against the macro juggernaut Light and the creative zerg Shine. Light's path starts in Seoul group L taking on Guemchi and beating him 2-1. While Shine in the Seoul group J takes a close series 2-1 vs Mini. Light has been spending much time practicing with Larva on sparkle with some success while shine has been a bit quiet. I give the game to Light's intensive turret placement, and BC/Vessel/Tank composition being the dominate late game army. The Winner's match takes place on Transistor with A weird double ramp for both players to defend. With much drop harass potential I give the win to Shuttle. Sky struggles in pvz, and I hope to see some creative play out of Shine. Light should easily win Final match with the superior macro and Shine being committed to being an observer for SC2. Shuttle>Sky Light>Shine Shuttle>Light Shine>Sky Shine<Light

In other news, I'm cheering for Shine tonight! Can't wait to see wtf people are doing on Sparkle because I have no idea how to play that map competitively. EDIT: Managed to get the Afreeca stream working on Internet Explorer (gross), but I've already made the call. See you guys on Tuesday.
