summary of Nal_rA vs BiFrost rA opens 1 gate nexus, harasses with initial two zealots and gets a few marine kills, loses one zealot. BiFrost opens 1 fac CC, with six rines, but since he lost four rines to no gain, he had no push. Then there was a period of macroing, as rA quickly took a third and then a fourth multi while BiFrost made an army off of two bases. Next was the most dangerous moment for rA - with 800 minerals going to nexus that didn't quite pay for themselves yet, BiFrost pushed out with 7 or so tanks, a handful of vultures and three marines. rA blocked this push with 10 dragoons and four zealots, losing only 4 dragoons and 2 zealots due to his good control. [and terran's bad control, I suppose - sieging tanks while dragoons were already shooting at them] From then on, it was all downhill for terran - having gambled his econ on a fast push to kill rA, he was significantly behind economically. rA made three stargates and prepared carriers, but they were unnecessary - his ground army finished bifrost. | ||
