EPTWelcome to the first edition of the LMaster invite! This will be a small tournament series pitting various members of the TL and BW community against each other for a serious, winner take all lunch covering prize pool of $5 stakes and a whole lot of bragging rights! Primarily this will feature mid level competition on up. Just don't get your hopes up for Trutacz v Scan as there are already tournaments with much better prizes than I can offer for the top foreign players.
This is designed to drum up a little extra excitement and activity among those players we'd traditionally think of as newly minted yellow on up to strong blue rank play and lay the base for some more fun down the road given sufficient interest.
Format
The Format may vary, but unless otherwise mentioned will be an invite tour of players of a similar skill level duking it out for a $5 payout and big time bragging rights. Bo3 until the finals, which will be Bo3 or Bo5 depending on desire of the players and myself on a given week. Normally Bo5.
Invites are likely to be capped at no more than 8 people to keep the cast length reasonable and to keep from turning these into all day tournaments that require a full day time commitment.
Starting Map will be announced each week, and then from there loser picks map from the official map pool.

Best way to show support is just show up, enjoy the games, and add to the atmosphere. Obviously donations are welcome, otherwise most of these tours will play for a very modest prize to avoid draining my thin pocketbook.
