After mostly positive feedback and strong numbers in participation and viewers on stream, we'd first and foremost like to say thank you to everybody who played in, supported and cheered for ICCup Nation League Season 1.
After listening carefully to your feedbacks, we decided to implement some changes which will help alleviate, if not solve the fundamental issues at heart. The following changes are in effect for Season2: The Eastern Team, World Union and Germany have been reorganized in «Team Europe» and «Team Nordics». All american countries except Peru have been merged to «Team America». See exact list of countries below for further reference.
Russia and Poland will field two more independent Teams. Each player from Russia and Poland can only sign up for one of these teams and can't switch team after that. Both teams run for Playoffs and are considered equal in all regards.
The Ace match is back! You heard that right. Each Team is incentivized to send their strongest player into the ACE match by having a special ladder that counts wins and losses for Ace players. The best players will receive a prize at the end of the season. Read the rules set for a complete overview about it.
Teams
AMERICA
All south, center and north America countries except Peru
POLAND-B and RUSSIA-alfa will play as independent teams, running for playoffs. Their players cannot switch to main team (and vice versa) until the end of the season, including playoffs.
Players coming from countries not listed above can be integrated judging case by case, if an integration is not possible we reserve the right to reject those players.
Format
The regular season will be played in 14 weeks, each team will face each other twice in a double round robin format: 7 weeks for the first round robin plus 7 weeks for the second. The top four teams will qualify for the playoffs.
Nation Wars will be played in the following format (all best of three):
3 per 1v1 (these players can also play ACE or 2v2)
1 per ACE (this player cannot play 2v2; this player can also play one 1v1)
1 per 2v2 (these players can also play one 1v1; cannot play ACE)
The minimum players needed to play a full Nationwar are 3, two of them will play 2v2 and the remaining one will play ACE. Of course teams can decide to set 6 different players in the line-up.
Each team will be awarded with +1 point for every match won +1 additional point to the winner of the NWar (example: Team A beats Team B 3:2. Team A gets 3+1= 4 points, Team B gets 2 points).
Starting maps will be given, then loser pick any, no double map.
Schedule
The second season will start Sunday 30 October; matches will be played every Sunday at 19:00 CET in channel Nation League (a specific channel can be set between teams once met, if in mutual agreement). The broadcast for the Nation League will start about 1 hour later and will be brought to you exclusively on our twitch channel iCCupBwTV
Sign-up
Where possible, the management of the team will remain the same it was for the first Season. However the Leaders have to re-confirm their engagement as such or to show up in case a new Leader is called to forfeit their position.

Ace Tour
The ACE players stats will be tracked during the regular season. At the end of it, the top 4 players will be seeded in a single elimination bracket bo3, bo5 (seeding is: 1 vs 4; 2 vs 3). In case of tie in the final standing, the direct comparison will determine who is seeded higher, in case the players didn't play during the season, an additional match bo3 will be played. Additional information about the prizes for the ACE Tour will be announced later.

Edit: As far as I know any edits after that will not be possible without breaking the code, so it's probably better to stick to using regular coding or somehow be granted the privilege

Are you guys releasing lineups/roster lists? I feel like there's people in each team that need to be removed and added. Especially now that some of the nations have joined more within, etc.

Europe hasn't an official leader yet, administrators will cover that role until someone fitting the requirements show up, but don't expect we are begging people to play, we invest enough time and forces to run the league. ytong was the first asking to join, but he disappeared for a while. No replies by Lure. No contacts with others.

Maybe who made the decision to join some of the teams together should have announced it to the players, but it`s in the news anyaway. Since I don`t know who was in which team, who is active enough, etc., I can not call everyone one by one, but who wants can apply to team.
Hey, I have a question. 3x 1x1 works very well but there is a thing about 2v2 and ACE match. When team's captain submits 2v2 and ACE players, they appear in the overall line up IMMIDIATELY, thus giving opponent team an unfair advantage of knowing who they are up against. It doesn't matter for 2v2 that much (and so we had no problem with it in season 1) but regarding ACE match it seems pretty important.
To admins: is it possible to fix it, so it works just as 1v1 table works or we will have to bypass it by some other means, like whispering an admin?
Same, i dont undestand ace concept. Now each team has many active players(old, semiold), why 1 guy(like truta) can play 3 games(1x1, ace, 2x2). Each leader put his best player on ace(usually team have 1-2 ace players).
I'm guessing there is an ace match so smaller teams can play too. (As you would only need 3 players.)
Maybe it would be better if the ace is a bo1? Then teams can send snipers, and 1 player will not be able to have as much impact. Right now, like idegelchik mentioned, you can exploit having 1 really good player on your team. In 'theory', if your best player is unbeatable you cannot lose.

There hardly any small sized teams left after merging, so this doesn`t holds true, as far as I see. Be it bo1 on a different map than the other starting map or bo3, it does not matter really, because the sniper has to be really well prepared and skilled to take down a better player on paper, now I don`t say that it wouldn`t work once or twice, just in the current foreign scene I don`t see happening snipers taking down better players on a regular basis.

You made a mistake though, ace players can`t play 2v2.
I think ace match would have some meaning, if it wouldn`t be played anyway, just only if there is a tie (maybe this has technical difficulties on iCCup?). Now I don`t like this either, because the old format (4 x 1v1, 1 x 2v2) used a bigger player pool, but at least it would be more sensible. In this way there will be probably a player in each team who will consistently have 2 games / nw, so probably less players will play eventually on the nws, which again doesn`t make sense as there are enough players even to fill a larger format.
for example: our alpha team have a lot of active(not top skill) players, but if you have ace match and score like 2-2, always top player play this ace. No ace = new guy play.

Been catching up on the VODs while commuting lately and I'm positively surprised by the cast's quality, regardless of what kind of criteria you look at. It's really enjoyable, so far both Catspaw and his co-commentators (goes to season 1 as well) were really, really good. Especially eon's comments were quite cool. I did not expect anything and I wasn't let down. This happens rarely. Keep that up!

What a joke our main player had ip conflict and they agreed on replacing him but as soon as they knew dandy would be playing they retracted. So if you agreed to replace our player ofc we won't activate the wildcard to pp the match. If you are scared of playing good players then you shouldn't be playing this tournament in the first place.
Terror should be warned for such post. If you have problems, then become captain yourself and lead your team proper. I gave your team two chances to replace player, even though I didn't want to waste time and I said it triple times, that you are abusing my patience. It's still high possibility you did plan it from start, knowing that Dandy will be very late. Your team has on account rather infamous past problems with other teams (not only particular in ICCup NL, but also during past nation events). Next time use wildcard and don't waste my time. For your and others information, I allowed to replace your first player, who didn't have ip conflict - he didn't even logged in. And you replaced it with player, who had serious problems with connection. Once again I offered him trying to play with our other player, just to show that he can't play with him too, cause it's his connection problem. He didn't even try to play and left channel o_o; I won't cooperate with such opponents. By rules, tech w/o should be after first 15 minutes, because you didn't take wildcard. And I'll make sure, if we meet once again in future events with similar wildcard system, that it will be taken right away. No more goodwill gestures. Of course it's only related to your team. I am still open for agreements with other teams, unless they start to behave like you.
