You'd think he learn from all those defeats but he just keeps sending Zealots to their deaths willy-nilly. G1 and G2 both so far. I don't think it's as stable either. I hope he will do a safer strat next game. I think in game 1 he was showing that the length of the game gives him more opportunities to get little advantages with dt harass and corsair pressure. People are too used to his early zealots maybe, I remember a year or so ago seeing him have good success with it, but sure doesn't seem that way anymore. It's not that hard to go overpool and shut it down and still be in an okay position if bisu went real forge FE.

With the sparse attendance in the early rounds and <10k viewers on /afstar1, I honestly don't know if Kongdoo can put together the investment necessary for a second season

It actually is a good event for Blizzard to advertise with, truthfully. Same audience set. Now, watch Blizzard botch the Korean scene badly, especially when that scene is ripe for a good Shooter to take over.

That was not even same match up :/ Yes it did, protoss opening vs zerg are more sharp, they do one gate much more often and have better harass, they also do cybernic core earlier which allows corsair much sooner, it forces us zerg to take gas before third hatch. Macro has been maxed out a long time ago but timing improved a lot.

Only thing that sucks is that Artosis came back just to curse my favorite player ![]() Eh, it's not really surprising considering they're casting SC2 since long while now and now are casting BW for only this event (for now). Casting a game for several years makes you less hyped by default, plus Bisu and EffOrt kinda are idols for Artosis and Tasteless who were playing/casting BW when young. Also, BW is really fun to watch (but also not always - see game 2).

I wonder if Blizz is hoping to revive the BW scene now that KeSPA's been excised from it. Activision/Blizzard bought MLG a few months ago, maybe they're thinking of making a big push for "eSports" in a year or two.

They're advertising the game on the Battle.net Client, Starcraft Twitter account, and they were advertising the Starcraft 2 Arcade contest in previous Rounds?

Still worth watching, but they simply don't have the same resources or motivations.

With the sparse attendance in the early rounds and <10k viewers on /afstar1, I honestly don't know if Kongdoo can put together the investment necessary for a second season It really depends. If the first investment went "okay", it's normally possible to do better due to both knowledge and exposure. Business/marketing types should know that, but you can never truly count on the business acumen of just any business. They have to show it. And it has to bring a return for them.

I love TvT but I see what you mean. If this final would have had a Terran, I probably would have gone, even tho it's packed as hell. What about TvP or TvZ then? ![]()
