Organized by Bisu and his Kongdoo associates, the league's been under way for a few matches now, as the quarterfinals are just about the complete. Pretty straightforward format: offline 8-player bracket with Bo5 matches held at the Kongdoo offices. The catch is the players' identities are only revealed after he loses.
The two unidentified players hold an interview with Bisu before playing, with their voices distorted and faces not shown. After the match completes, the loser comes out for another post-match interview. Check out the bracket below to see the three players who've already been revealed.
Participants:
Format & Map Pool: Ro8 single elimination bracket Bo5 throughout
VODs are all linked @ LP, or in the spoilered top post
Fun anecdotes shared by lemmata :
QF #2: When the players were interviewed before the match, the Zerg player said that he was not a former champion. There were some humorous exchanges between the viewers, MC, and Bisu, where Bisu mentioned that it could be hero and everyone kept rubbing it in that hero was the reigning SSL champ. Given that this happened multiple times, it was intentional.
There was a lot of humorous banter. Example: MC said "I was really good in practice, but sucked in real matches." Bisu then said, "In my experience, the people who are good in practice are the ones who are good in real matches."
The Zerg used the ID pongpongzerg, which is one of Larva's nicknames. Pokpoong (hurricane) Zerg is of course Yellow's famous nickname. Pongpong is a Korean brand of dish soap...and Larva is of course a famous former dishwasher. It is unclear if the player was trying to misdirect the audience or not.
Bisu also had some comments about Flash and Fantasy. He said that they were the only S-class Terrans he has faced. This was said in a fake arrogant way for laughs. Last was using an ID that means S-class Terran (sgubterran or something like that).
During the interview with Last, Bisu named his "best players of each race" -- EffOrt for Zerg, himself for Protoss, Last for Terran
Interesting how top terrans fell off right away. Especially OnlineFlash
I'd bet the Blind Zerg is EffOrt. Too aggressive early game to be Hero or ZerO or Larva but he could be throwing us off hehehe Too sloppy with the swarms and lurkers though hmmm..

"Bisu Blind League Ro8" is in there...as a subheading ^^

Too fun reading the reactions, glad folks are having a fun time making guesses -- these matches usually see hundreds of K-netizen guesses with all the lottery prizes at stake. Most are also guessing the Zerg is hero
Surprised to see Mind lose! Especially with the series going FS: 2 TvZ, CB: 2 ZvP and the deciding set on FS .
Are the identities of hidden from the players themselves (and not just the viewers)? If so, that's like super suspenseful for the players as well during the games - quite a twist from the usual preparation format!

Maybe lemmata or someone else can share some of banter, but as for the identities of the losers, they come over to the camera after the match to be interviewed.
Sea and Mind appear in the game 5 VOD after the game itself
Damn in that case Hero was on a roll this tournament. Defeat Mind, Jaehoon, Effort then Bisu ?? ( actually I wasn't able to catch the showmatch, just assume that Hero won )
Edit: welp 1st match vs Bisu Zerg took the min only as the 3rd on CB. Hero didn't want any ambiguity at all lol.
Please update winner and add MC as co-host(guest?) to liquipedia. Also what happened to Blind Terran/Zerg texts? IMO For the ones who didn't catch you should add to their names #BT/BZ/BP (or full Blind Terran/Zerg/Protoss text if is it possible to make spoilers in bracket) so it will look proper.
