That second game was majorly weird. I thought hwasin had it really early but he just seemed to let Iris expand with weird positioning. Still came back in the end though, was really tense.

Just log-on to snipealot2 next time and ask that the stream be switched to HoSic
I'm afraid these late (in Korea) tournaments are in the middle of the night for me, but the other snipealot stream moderators are all very helpful and accommodating

Sounds like this match was pretty contentious, just VODed it -- sorry, too lazy to split it up into separate files

Thanks for the heads-up, looks like the Liquipedia results were momentarily off and corrected shortly thereafter, thanks to our wonderful contributor Whisper
If any of the games from the Mind vs Jaehoon series particularly stand out, I'd be glad to VOD it for everyone

Oh wow, thanks a lot.
I'll share your uploads on LP to give them a wider reach
Hwasin wasn't he involved in the matchfixing scandal. I'm not holding a grudge I think he should be allowed to participate, but I do find it interesting. Granted it's a really small league.

He admitted to it but also became apologetic afterwards. He seems to be better (a whole lot better compared to sAviOr) received by the pros.
Not trying to influence you to like him though.
Btw, who is playing tonight? It says semifinal 1 yet it's already been played according to LP brackets Mind vs HwaSin?

Is his vZ that good already? It can be a really good matchup if goes up against EffOrt one day (EffOrt 6-0'd PianO yesterday I think?)
I thought I should just because the other posters hadn't seen the game, better safe than sorry ^^
I've barely seen hwasin play since he's back, so I've really got no idea how good he will be. Iris really isn't that great, and that was a 3-2 series.. but well, vZ is a completely different ballgame. While kespa stats don't mean much these days, if you were godly at a MU back then, it generally seems to carry over.. once you've practiced enough.

I don't think he'll beat mind anyway.
Edit: Just noticed you were one of those posters
Haha. Being a tournament section thread, I thought it wasn't necessary.
Anyway, yeah seeing the scoreline makes think the same thing. I should watch the games when I get back home.
Pretty quick ZvZ series, but nice decision-making and timing attacks -- in game 2, I really thought ZerO had hero when he took out hero's spire and much of his main.
Tomorrow's TvT semifinal will be interesting. I've only seen a handful of post-KeSPA Hwasin clips, so am not familiar with his abilities, while Mind's TvT is quite mediocre, as others have noted earlier...Hoping for a good series, and thanks much to Connor56202 for capping all the HoSic S2 matches
If anyone's planning on watching the semi or finals, please do consider starting a LR thread -- nothing elaborate necessary
sup guys just letting everyone know if you guys missed or wants to rewatch the ZvZ series between ZerO and herO i uploaded them to my youtube as well as the rest of Hosic's Starleague and ill be sure to bring everyone the TvT semi-finals between Mind and Hwasin and the grand finals as well to my youtube
Why is the only stream we have is Afreeca? It's unwatchable in Germany, the video never loads. Basically ANY afreeca stream is unwatchable. Why are there no restreams on twitch for Christ's sake?

snipealot is restreaming it. Although, currently it's just the zvzs from last time.

it happens for me as well its annoying as hell (me being in Australia) the best i can tell the case for me anyway is your/my internet such as if someone else in the house is using the internet for like youtube or downloading/updating stuff - and the only restreams you get are snipealot's twitch but this is just all my opinion
the semi finales starting right now everyone (just making sure) lets all enjoy starcraft! i will also be uploading them to youtube later on tonight in case you miss them or whichever! enjoy all!

yeah, pretty much a winning move in any TvT.
Eh, if your opponent is ready, a fleet of 4 or 5 wraiths won't do a whole lot. If they're not, it'll devastate them.
that's the point, if your opponent is ready, you not doing it right Last pro TvTs were almost all wraith wars.
I'd heavily disagree with that, although certain maps did oftentimes end up wraith/tank vs wraith/tank or 2port vs 2port although usually they transitioned into the dropship style. Just look at the final OSL between Flash and FanTaSy. Those games were sick and showed the depth of TvT pretty much since every game had a different style to it.
