I think the 6 O'clock is mined out for Mingi. So he is bascially just mining from the 3 O'clock. thats where he is concentrating his army and will elad him to be able to attack the 1 O'clock base reaosnablly safely. But he will never be able to get acorss to the 7 O'clock main.

Shuttle storms almost all of Mingi's SCV's at that 3 O'clock and I think Mingi knows the game is up now.

Indeed. Shuttle did really well to come back from that start. He was down on his knees and Mingi just let him double expand back into the game for free. I bet someone like HiyA would have sent a small task force to punish Shuttle in a similar situation.

GG though fun game in the end.

Looks like I've missed a fair bit off the start of this game. we have 3 base Modesty bottom right and the third in the natural of the 2 O'clock base. He's just adding the main nwo to make it 4 base. vs 2 base Shuttle.

Now it's time for one of the best parts of Broodwar Scouge vs Corsair micro.

Oh there's DT's on the map. there was probablly some early game denial of DT's by Modesty. Corsairs pooking around looking for unguarded Overlords.

Modesty was adding quite a few hatcheries at the 1 O'clock main and there's a probe of Shuttles considering taking the mineral only.

Shuttle poking into the natural at the 1 )'clock. but he's trying to come down from the North and it's quite a tight choke point. The lurkers and lings are able to hold Shuttle off for now.

Shuttles having anouther go and forced his way out of the choke and to attack the Natural across a wider front of engement.

Menwhile Modesty is shutting down Shuttle 9 O'clock.

Shuttles losing his army at the 1 O'clock natural not doing any damage and has lost his third base at the 9 O'clock.

Shuttle has at least got the mineral only back up again and covered it in cannons.

a large force of zealots has gone back to the 1 O'clock natural and caught Modesty's Lurkers moorghing un protected. unfortunatelly for shuttle he's only able to kill one lurker egg before they finish morghing ( a couple of storms could have done some real damage there).

Shuttle trys a HT drop in the main of the 1 O'clock base and I think he only got 1 drone. Shuttle is also taking the 12 O'clock base and Modesty has notcied straight away and tried a relatively ineffective attack using lurkers and lings. But he has defillers now and will keep the pressure up on that base.

Modesty is taking is mineral only and the attack on the 12 O'clock seems to be swinging his way. Lurkers under Orange stuff are pretty effective.

Round 2: Destination Modesty will be swinging from the top and Shuttle trying to work his way up from the bottom.

the production and consumption of toast will limit my typing APM for a while.

Modesty has 3 bases up and Shuttle is up to two himself. Pretty standard.

lots of poking from both players with corsairs and zealots and Mutas from Modesty. Pilled his scouge into the Corsair fleet and I don't think he got one.

Modetsy is taking his back expansion and Shuttle is getting his 8 O'clock going third going.

More muta hurass, get's a Dragoon and forces the waste of a storm. No real damage.

Modesty snipes a HT but losses a lot of muta's or at least takes a lot of damage on his muta's from the Corsairs in doing so.

Shuttle taking his back expansion and Modesty taking the 4 O'clock base that's quite close to Shuttle but on high ground with a narrow choke up to it. Shuttle is trying to force his way up that choke with a big Dragoon army but Hydras hold the high ground. Shuttle trying to scare the Hydras off with storm. But Modesty is holding it for now.

Shuttle now taking the 5 O'clock imediately below that base. Seems like this will be a likely focus point for action in the coming minutes.

Those basses going up make it 5 base Vs 5 base. Destination isn't good for a Zerg with no air control and the same number of basses as the Protoss.

modesty knowing he has to do something is attacking Shuttles army in the center with waves of Hydras. Modesty did a great job of spreading his hydras out and surrounding the Protoss army from all sides. Shuttle losing his army is cruical for the balance fo the game. But Modesty has to make it count and shut down some basses.
