Broodwar.de and partners (heroes.ingame.de are back with another small tournament series. This time you can win Heroes of the Storm Beta Key for the EU Server! In the upcoming two weeks a total of six tournaments will be hosted. The winner of every tournament will receive a key as prize. However, you can also win by just signing up for any of the tournaments. If you play your games and get knocked out, you automatically enter the raffle. Winners will be contacted either in this thread, via PN or mail addy. Be sure to check the thread even when the tour is finished!
Please note, you can win only one key. That means if Sziky comes along and dominates each tournament, he'd only receive one key and the rest will be given to the second place winners.
++Update++
We now also offer ladder points for the winner and the runner up. You can always win +500 and +300 points, as well as some store gold on ICCup in every edition of the tournament series.
Dates
You should realize that you have to register an account to broodwar.de's tournament platform, the so-called inCup System. It's fairly easy, straight forward and can be handled by tech newbs. An explanation how the registration and sign up works is given in the links to the tournaments!

The Maps and Modes
Every tournament is going to use a Single Elimination Modus. It's best of one from Round 1 to the Quarter Finals. Quarter Finals and Semi Finals are Best of Three, the Grand Finals are Best of Five. Also, as the smart user already realized, every tournament starts at 19:00 CET. Please don't miss to check-in in the 30 minutes before seven o'clock. Otherwise, you can't play.
Newschool Tournament
The newschool tournament will feature the following maps:

Oldschool Tournament
The oldschool tournament will feature the following maps:
It's not "that" oldschool, but it has Lost Temple and it features maps, which should not be THAT horribly imbalanced and still fun to play.
Island Tournament
The island tournament will feature the following maps:
Long live the glory that are island maps! However, organizer Celetuiw complained that Zerg is [mimimimimimi, make it semi island, mimimimi], hence Monty Hall and 815.
Streams
There are no streams. At least not yet. If any of you thinks he wants to cast all the tours, or some of it, let us know. Contact either me or Celetuiw via PN, or post in the thread. We can't promise we can support you all the time while organizing, but we'll try to send you replays and/or stop players before they enter the games.
Also, any player is allowed and encouraged to stream his games.

Also: if you have trouble signing up for the event on Incup, do not hesitate to contact Gecko or me via PM, we can help you out. I want to remind everyone that the registration requires you to enter the ICCup Account you are going to play with. Please play on your main account and not some smurf.

Yeah, it turns out the page is more complicated than it should be.
You need to go to "My Battle.net Accounts" and set a name for Starcraft InCup.
Then go back to the tour page and the Sign Up link shows.
If it doesn't work at all, simply be there around 18:45 and I'll either guide you through, or set up a dummy account for you.

1. If you already won a Key (spx, Lancer, eon and the others), you can still play again. Even if you finish first, you will still get the ICCup prizes (points and storage gold). The key would then be handed over to the runner-up. Or third place if the runner-up also has a key. Whatever.
2. I'd like some feedback on the maps, in particular on the oldschool maps. Were they somwhat fair? Fun to play? I'd use this if I ever host something again.
3. Feedback on the ingame/inCup Tour system. So far it seems to have caused enormous problems when registering. Where were the problems?

yeah, it would be really helpful if you let us know where the problems with incup were. We are planning to use this more in the future for already planned events and events still in planning. So if you can point us specifically to what caused you trouble, we can work to make it better.

There is a small rally point glitch on R-Point when you spawn at the 11 o'clock position and rally your units downwards toward 7 o'clock. And by small I mean it is pretty annoying, because your units get stuck just outside your natural and you have to do additional micro to unstuck them and command them to go to their rally point. SS provided here . As it can be seen the zealot I've selected is stuck in what appears to be a perfect shelter for him and he can't find his way out on his own so you have to guide his ass out of there. As obvious in this case I'm 2 gating a zerg and this is the last think I'd want, because every round of 2 zealots is crucial for the timing I am trying to pull off. I haven't tested the other positions, because it would take too much time, but I guess this would be a good thing to report to the mapmaker, I think it is not hard to fix. Other than that the map seems fine and has a lot of potential for great games on it at first glance.
PS I can provide the replay too if needed. I took another look at it and at one point even 2 zealots got stuck there lol.
