Nice that you guys are doing this, but do you really think that people are going to register, while there is no exact LAN Place with adress and such? No prize pool distribution and sponors or something like this?

place has always been the same. who was the past few times . it's written here contact me. if i say it will be in elik merkela iela nothing will change.. it's not about sponsorship. i invested in it all i could... i don't care also who will win this. most important is to get us all together. i have already people coming from other countries. korea, mexico. best player from latvia was first to sign up. he paid already
don't be so negative. i can't imagine how awesome it would be if everyone would be thinking like me. i did it before and this will be the best.

if i wil be in latvia during that time i will definitely come visit this, and hopefully join sc bw forever  And yes it's not about who wins or sponsorship or anything it's just people whole love the game come together after all those years that what matters I havent played scbw personally in a long time but i would still be more than interested to participate in the event just for the moral values

Stratos. korean player is ex progamer. as soon as he buy ticket i will let u know. from previous lans u can find pics in reps.ru previous themes. or in group sc:bw latvia in facebook. also in youtube there is video from first lan. search starcraft lan riga
foldy to take part i this u have to know before first october where u will be. gold words though.
from the past, people that were there said. we don't care about prizes. and about who wins the meeting is most important. obviously a tourney is a nice thing to take part and obs. but it's not wcg of progaming. is no point to make millions u won't win it anyway. even if it would be for 100000 euro prize for first place. try to win your laziness and get your ass here. we will have time none will ever forget

1 little problem... NO ALCOHOL???? How can i survive in LAN without alcohol T_T_T_T_T_T_T???????? How long will the LAN last?????

We had issue with alcohol , players came after a party, with big headache and smell like hell... one of them fall asleep on desk, another nearly started fight.
we don't want bad experience anymore, touney will be 9-6 probably. we will see how many players. I believe will be 20-30

I live in Vilnius as well. There are several buses to Riga, not so hard to find at bus station

firebathero won't make it to riga this time. as he got some work to do. but he will be free on the day and will play the tournament with us. so some of u will face him 1v1 and maybe ally him 2v2 as it's random ally 2v2.

one day i'll make it worldwide big competitions. i just need to find where to dig money to organize this.
to have a nice organized place where best players can practice. and play against each other for show.
too sad that it's no more in korea. this should be world wide with real money bets. people don't understand that yet.
the place where people could watch this could be with bar and restaurant so while u watch u can eat anbd drink. i probably need to ask goverment for money . my wife cook better than top chefs . she could be a headchef and food would be fantastic.

yesterday i came home from night work that i was working 12 hours. woke up 4 pm. work all night from 8 till 8. and i come home and carry on with organization of my tournament till night. so i can sleep at night during my day off. i am happy to do that and don't feel tired.
i went to sleep just at 10 pm.

Be at Lan 8:45 Riga time, we starting from 2v2. very fast 2v2 tourney , then goes Double Elimination 1v1 tourney!
including Lunch Break!
prize draw will be at the time when top3 will be playing.
because i don't want some of the people get 2 prizes, and some nothing!

i don't think it's difficult to play 2v2 on hunters, especially for a zerg player.
u can play and cast or just cast. very welcome to do this, be on time at iccup Hellscream channel.

So, since I didn't manage to get myself going to the Latvia LAN I was watching FBH stream of his participation. How can one not like of this guy? So patient with his fans and giving them what they want.

Short story about what happened.
A bit disappointing that most of gosu latvian players haven't come. we had just few who was higher than C rank.
anyway people come on time, we managed to organize and install bw on all computers very fast! thanks to some russian website i beleive starcraft 7x.

I will tell about my look on tourney.
Met everybody, started 1 hour later than needed to. as some were late.
First game was vs a starcraft 2 player who is actually not bad. easy win for me with Z and T.
2nd game was against ex latvian top terran. i nearly lost the game (hardest win for me in the tourney)
3rd was fazek[MB] who didn't make enough defence, and i killed him with early lings. before mutas.
4th was firebathero the favourite of the tourney (of course) i managed to win him in the semifinal which was BO1.
i knew that was the best i could do, and i knew i had chances on colosseum. so we celebrated this, my guys already bought me a medal of top1!
I got top1 prize and then in finals we played with fbh for fun, where i lost 3/0
everyone of 16 participants won some prize. even small but something!
some participants won 2-3 prizes!
Great tournament and afterparty with vodka shots without mixing it with any juice!
finished at 2 am. cause limps gf had to go to bed for work! was enough for us though, some had to leave to airport. and we all were tired after this big day!
