Format : Bo3 / Finals Bo5

Welcome to Another Great event, presented to you by Team Alchemists
Hi !
I am happy to present to you the Alchemy League. “What can this be?“ you say. Well let me tell you. Me and a few friends have been working on another event that we wanted to be bigger than the regular 10/20$ tournaments on defiler. so we came up with this idea. It‘s been alot of work for people like us without that much experience in hosting such events. We also didn’t have all the contacts we needed, and those we knew, unfortunately, are not as intrested in helping out as they were before. Kudos to thoose who actually did help us though.
So far, Madinho , Voddy and myself chipped in for the prizepool. Now we will open for donations. If you want to help us raise the prizepool you can donate to my paypal account : LeifJsandoy@gmail.com Remember that every donation helps, small ones and big ones. The larger the prizepool gets, the more interest and activity the event will get. Your donations will go to the prizepool and only that.

Format
Top 16 players from ladder stage advance into Group stage with bo3 matches.
8 players advance into Double-Elimination bracket with bo3 matches in WB, bo3 matches in LB and bo5 Grand Final.
Players from 17 to 32 places in ladder stage into Group stage with bo1 matches
8 players advance into Double-Elimination bracket with bo3 matches in WB, bo1 matches in LB and bo5 Grand Final.
Players will be seeded after their ladder position after the league ends.

You host a tourney today which is set for tomorrow, and then 14hours later decide not enough interest has been shown? o.o It's a Saturday in the summer, even nerds sometimes ain't at home to check TL.

As you said it yourself, its summertime. I actually have a rl besides BW so i diddent have time to make the event earlier. When i hosted 1x1 tours there are way more response, i thought it would be better then this since several people have asked me for a 2x2 tour.

It's not like I care much for the 2v2 community, but I guess he means the time of announce. If you announce something only one day before it starts, you are bound to have less chances to get a lot of participants, especially for 2v2, where you not only require one player but two for each spot. Next time try to just write there'll be a tour in n+1 days and set up the grid. It's not like that supervision of the sign up process takes a lot of time.

Yeah well, i failed at this one. 2v2 tours at iCCup tend to be popular, i thought it would be this time also with a little $ prize. I diddent have chance to make it earlier since i diddent know if i could be present. I guess i try on another 1x1 hopefully next weekend

If some teams come to the designated channel at the designated time, we can have a little 2v2 fun tour though.
