Also off-topic question: how comes that the two best players on the iccup ladder are only A- and what does it take to be A?

Results: + Show Spoiler +Scan 2-0 Michael + Show Spoiler +1st game: Michael opened with lots of Zerglings, then went 1 Hatch Lurker all-in vs 2 Port Wraith. The all-in died to clutch Terran wall and Bunkers, while single Wraith took out almost all Drones.
2nd game: Michael 5-Pooled, but tried to be cute and move the Lings around the scouting SCV. As a result, Lings got to Scan's base after his wall was completed and Marine popped; insta gg from Zerg. Trutacz 2-0 Michael + Show Spoiler +1st game: Cross-spawns of FS, Trutacz went for 9 Pool and 6 Lings. For some reason, Michael made only 4 Lings and tried to block his ramp with 4 Drones, but called gg as soon as his blockade got busted.
2nd game: Hardly looked at that game. The only thing I saw were Mutas and Lings crushing Michael's mineral line...

So it's only a matter of enough points, aka consistency vs A- players, apparently noone currently displays (and those who do are so gosu, they probably practice on Fish ladder anyway). Too few amazing players around anyways...

The lack of green rank is basically because of the points sytam itself, you reach a peak where u lose more than u win at equal rank, while there is less and less players of your rank.

he's quite arrogant, maybe he saw his huge lead and figured he can win in troll fashion. Anyway it's currently 1-1 I wonder if scan can win another game. BTW it was loser's choice for map, so Hiya chose FS again and scan will choose Desti as final map

there have been A and A+ players before in recent seasons, the tournament season lasted only 2 months tho so ranks are obviously deflated compared to a regular 3month season too
