It would be monumental for Yellow to defeat casy and take down his first championship ever. Moreover, the competition has been unusually fierce this starleague, with oov, july, boxer, and pusan being eliminated fairly early by rookies. (Yellow[name] > oov, Yellow[name] > july, Shinwha > pusan etc etc) Currently, Yellow's ZvT stats are 50-39, 56.2%. In his last 10 games, Yellow is 7-3 vs terran! On the other hand, Casy has demonstrated that he's a wicked good player himself. Being a ridiculous practice machine, his TvZ has become stronger and stronger. We've has several glimpes of this skill via Casy's proleague matches, but today we will see his true form. His current TvZ stats are 12-5, 70.6%. In his last 10 games, Casy is 7-3 vs zerg! Although Casy clearly has a better win rate, there aren't enough games to know whether he's consistent or not. On the other hand, Yellow has a wicked scary consistent 50-39 record. In their last played match, Yellow defeated Casy, but this was about 2 years ago in a starleague game played long ago on Nostalgia. This match will probably be 3-2 in favor of the winner. Even if it is 3-1 or 3-0, i expect some ridiculously strong play from both players. MATCH STARTING NOW GLGLGL! :D | ||

expansion started for yellow. academy+gas going down for casy. Still 1 rax out for casy. Casy playing it passively keeping his marines at his ramp and now doing anything stupidly aggressive (ie sea[sheild] style) | ||

for those of you who are unaware or don't want to read all the previous pages, yellow has placed 2nd in 6 or 7 starleagues, but never quite won it all (excluding blizzcon/ king of kings tourney) Yellow has placed 2nd in only three Starleagues. He did win Snickers league which was his last big accomplishment. Wasn't Snickers only an invite tourny for the the most consistent players of the last 3 starleagues that year? Or maybe I am mixing it up with some King of Kings tournament? Snickers was 8 voted in players who most would agree were at least as scary as the top 8 of any Starleagues. It lasted for months and was broadcasted on MBCGame during the between-period of its MSL's. | ||
