There is definitely a difference - I don't know how pubbanana plans to defend that statement. But the fact is that there are some people that don't know the nicknames. I've seen posts here of people using real names and they say "sorry I don't know nicknames" etc. The reason they don't know is because you hardly hear Koreans making reference to the gamers by nickname. It's always with real name. In the translated interviews, the translator puts the nickname in place of the real name. Also, there are some progamers that change nickname constantly so that if you refer to them by the original nickname, you are making a mistake. There are other progamers that have similar nicknames or one of their aka's are similar to another progamer's main nickname... it can get confusing. Anyway the only real reason to only use a progamers original and most famous nickname is to keep things simple. There are enough people that are willing to put in more effort (maybe for clarification, maybe out of respect, maybe to be more knowledgeable) and enough people that don't know the nicknames, that it's worth it to put real names.

And enough Korean Terrans in WCG. Let's see some Z action!! I would love to see an all Z roster from Korea. EDIT - Way too much attention given to the name deal cuz of one stupid swede who thot the world revolved around him. Let the newsposter post however the fuck he wants, it's not like the rest of you scrubs woulda gone on Fifo or someshit and found this out. Learn gratitute fuckers.

And someone knows will reps be released? Cos last year we had countries that released reps, and some didn't(like Korea, Rus....). I think it's unfair everyone could watch and prepare for games vs Day, Blackman, Yan. But noone could prepare for games vs Androide, Ex, Xellos.

OH MY FUCKING GOD is all I have to say about that.[/QUOTE] OK, football was probably a bad example, but you get my point: They are both people playing a game (yes, football is also a game) and they are both identified by a club and a number (or, for progaming, a team and an ID, such as OZ_Anytime or what have you) Basically, talking about someone with their ID like it's their real name just bothers me and it WOULD be the equivalent of calling Rooney "ManU guy, number 8" It just sounds dumb to me. I won't do it anymore, though

I've seen so many upsets in WCGs 2004 and 2005, and so far, it's looking the same for '06.i dont get why progamers dont care about the wcgs since the prize money rivals that of osl/msl, maybe even more?
