Stuff Not sure whether or not to call this BJ Ranking Tournament or SOSPA Ranking Tournament, I'm going with the latter for now. This is Sonic's smaller scale tournaments, mainly to tide people over between or during SSLs. Also, return of Terror, the debut of Sea .. get hyped!!
Format Ro16 Group Stage, then onwards is single elimination. Players probably are matched up randomly at each stage.

lol when i went to check if he posted up groups yet after I posted this, Nada got swapped out for Beast .. ;;; which sucks but it's understandable that Nada would want more time to catch up lol

I wonder what Terror has been up to since his absence. I'm also sad that Horang2 isn't in this. Killer is too busy with the hunnies since his SSL championship to play in this :D
Tomorrow should be equally amazing, or at least real close. I'm a fan of Mong, even if his play hasn't been particularly impressive lately. Gonna be nice to see him go up against Terror.
Shinee I don't know much about, and I'm not a fan of Tyson. I'd hope Terror/Mong makes it through.
TerrOr has been replaced at the last minute by snail.pose, aka Younghwan Jang. I don't know who that is; apparently he doesn't stream on Afreeca/is new to Afreeca?
Just found some information about terror from day1 vod:
Sonic asked afreeca staff if there is any possiblity for terror to participate (thus stream on afreeca), but the request was denied since terror´s behavior and action crossed the line and therefore he is permabanned from afreeca. In addition anyone who shows him playing + webcam, that person will be permabanned too.
So I guess this is the main reason why terror got replaced in day2. kinda sad but understandable.

SSL8 will def have a higher prize pool than SSL7, before the matchfixing scandal the minimum budget for SSL8 was at least 15million won (now Sonic is starting all over w/ the sponsor search, but he says it's going well)

I think that the SSL has a lot of potential growth. I mean there are so many Koreans that were invested in televized BW if they knew about this I'm sure they would tune in, but why am I saying this to a Korean xD. You know that a lot better than me!
Any idea what Sonic could do to market his tournament outside the waters of Afreeca?

Hasn't been confirmed AFAIK. Might've just been a typo or something, but it would be a weird typo to make. We'll see though, would be badass to see him in SSL8 :>

I'm not sure if he's asking for koreans to promote TL more or promote his stuff to TL more or what, but he seems happy about TL having his league on the front page xD maybe someone who actually knows more korean than I can translate it.
