Actually, I think that was just a map glitch from faulty map-making. No excuse at that kind of level though. What I was talking about was the ridiculous changes making NE weaker and Orc stronger in the MBC Finals between Spirit_Moon and ReX.Romeo. I think it was tweaked by one of the announcers in an attempt to give other races a chance against NE.
In Korea, NE and UD make up probably 90% of the race population. Very few Hu and O. --;

It is a Warcraft 3 League by MBC which serves 2 purposes:

1) Being the new MBC Warcraft League
2) ESWC Korea Wc3 Qualifiers

MBC Map Scandals:

1) Star.Werra on BlueRose

- Star noticed something was not right when his ghoul speed research took so long to be upgraded (real upgrade time is 45seconds)

- Star decided to retire as MBC didnt want to offer him a regame or fix the map

- Eventually a regame was given on a different map but Star lost and retired

- The bug in the upgrade was due to a "glitch" and was not done intentionally

2) Freedom.WeRRa vs ReX.Romeo

- Freedom.WeRRa lost his semi final match to ReX.Romeo

- After that game, Dayfly and Moon decided to study the VODs when both of them noticed that Orc seemed exceptionally strong

- Suspecting something amiss Dayfly decided to get hold of the map and got his friend who was a programmer (READ: P-R-O-G-R-A-M-M-E-R) to unravel the code

- They found out that the maps had been intentionally programed to help Orc have an unfair advantage over Night Elf

- Dayfly went public with his findings and an investigation was launched, turns out that the map-maker did it "on purpose without knowledge of MBC Game". The reason was that "he felt a Night Elf vs Night Elf finals would be boring" (the winner of this match was supposed to face Moon)

- Mapmaker admits his mistake and is fired from MBC.

It probably won't because each race always has its on and off times. They just have to switch maps to make balance changes.

Guys what matchup issues in WC3? I have heard about UD>NE and NE>>ORC, what about others? I don't play War, just curious.

Ever since WEG 1 where Moon crushed Zacard 3-0, Orc has a tough time beating NE

UD > HU and NE > ORC are extremly unbalanced. The rest is ok.

wc3 only. This tournament, like some people said earlier, is a qualifier for the ESWC in France this summer.

I enjoy both sc and wc3 and I must admit the wc3 scene will be more interesting than ever in the next few months with MIL and The WEG
