The Format 22 Players, there will be five groups in the Round of 22. 3 of the 5 groups will have 4 members in it and 2 of the 5 will have 5 members in it. In each group two matches will take place in the order of the maps: First: 황산벌, Second: Sungaze. Winner of the first match will continue on to the Round of 10, the second match will be played with the remaining players, winner of that game will continue on to the Round of 10. When the Round of 10 begins each of the winners from Group E from the Round of 22 will be placed into Group A and B of Round of 10. The two groups in the round of 10 go by the same guidelines to win as in Round of 22 groups. After the winners of groups A and B have been decided from the Round of 10 they be become the Final Four. They will play a match or series it has yet to be decided.

Btw, I think there's a button on the beacon which you can use to relocate it (iirc it only works once). You can't see it in replay obviously, as you can't see any other command button.
If that's not the case I could modify the maps (If someone unlocks the maps for me, I don't know how to do that :<) and manually add beacons and triggers and everything and make it just the same as this, but then it should be played on ums mode.

Gonna clarify the didn't test yet. You can recall it w/flag I think.(tbh not sure) Stasis should stay. MC probably stays? @Birdie The only ETA I have for this tournament / league to begin might be a week or a week and a half from now. That being said for time that completely depends on the week or 2 weeks for people to finish the group stages. It is not like a CL where there is a situated time. It is up for members of your group to make a skype group and figure out what would be the best time for you guys to play. I’ll do my best to organize with people that are closer to your time zone. I’ll talk about this when I figure out how many people we have signed up for this tournament.
@quirinus like I said to Birdy above, this tournament works in stages week by week. Because due the nature of communicating with your opponents I’ll be thinking most likely two weeks for the beginning stages if not all them. So it won’t just one specific date where this all happens. And thanks for the info I’ll be sure to update the OP with your knowledge thanks again!
Also you said if all buildings killed are you eliminated from the game. I don’t believe so. Because you still own rights over the the beacon which is a building I’ll go check that out momentarily.

@Trozz the only issue with Coulee in this case and I'm surprised I had in in my downloads folder but, its only a two player map this is a FFA tournament so you have 3 or 4 people going in each game.
I just did some testing, if you lose all structures your not out of the game BUT if you let's say kill off your CC and then SCV rush your opponent and lose all your SCV or be extrapolate to the conclusion if you lose all units and builds you are eliminated

I wonder what happens if you kill the transport that the flag/worker is in. I guess it appears on the ground where the transport was... but what if it was over non-passable terrain? Maybe it spawns as close to that as possible.
Also, you actually have to land the worker with the flag on the beacon from the shuttle, otherwise it won't capture the flag.

Only 5 player map I remember is hwangsanbul though.
There are tons of good 5 player Blizzard maps. For CTF not like traditional balance matters so much.
Also, since this type of multi-player FFA might encourage passivity, I think having something to encourage aggression might be good. Two options I've thought up consist of:
1. In a 4 or 5 player game, the first player to eliminate someone else automatically advances and can just leave the game as victor, leaving the remaining to duke it out for the 2nd spot.
or
2. Setting a small side prize pool for the player who knocks out the most number of opponents throughout the course of the tournament.
Obviously, big thanks BWalma for organizing, and these are just some ideas I thought I'd suggest.

I've played countless amounts of FFA, CTF, etc, in my days, trust me, half decent maps are still just alot more fun as you won't be getting fucked by being unable to defend at all, considering that there might be more than one player who attacks you it's even harder in FFA to defend, especially if you have to protect a flag from being stolen!

Hmmmm, SP takes in for elegant, if for example your like draw and have work or some other inability with your group I won't sub you'll just be a walkover for your game, there needs to be atleast three people to show per group however.
TheMarine didn't finish game 1 and didn't want to show up for game 2, so game 2 was a 1v1. Hopefully that's fine but we couldn't think of a better solution at the time. Replays should be sent now/soon.

I have the data I just need a chart to place them into because I have no idea how to use the coding for LP thanks!

So it was concluded that the remaining three players (the ones who lost/dropped from the first game) shall play the second game again. But I guess the "winner" of the second game could take the win if they/we don't find another time to play.
*By dropped from the game I mean lost connection to the internet.
EDIT: The winner of the first game has the replay, but it's corrupted near the middle. So the last remaining player in game 1 will have to send the replay if it works.

Just started Uploading Group D VODs now, What is the status of Group B and C We need to get your replays in or at least the results today] was the deadline guys. Let me know

btw, it's possible to get my flag;d In game one I stole mewka's flag and also managed to bring it to my beacon. However, I am not 100% if it works with Protoss, but if yes, then you would have to stack probes and make them bug out over the geysir, in which process they will automatically pick up the flag.

MAJOR UPDATE READ Congratulation for everyone who has advanced to the round of 10. I am making a flexible deadline of September 9th to get your two games played. Same rules apply. Also DO NOT do the geyser trick LML did in one of the VODs. I am officially banning such a technique as it unfair and takes way to long to snag the flag even though I'm not sure if it possible. Sorry for the inconveince.

This is an update. I have no idea whats going on with the groups. You guys know that Ro10 replays are due the 9th correct? Just letting out a informative post.
Group B has finished their games and I now have the replays. I still need some sort of update regarding of Group A. Terranos if you could tell me what happened today would be aweomse thanks or anyone else today.

hahaha no offense but if you don't pm me I can't really see that as trying. Maybe you skyped me and I missed it. Although I checked my history and unless its in the sGs chat I couldnt find it (sGs has like 2k messages sent per day.. no way im reading all that lol)
Anyways on topic: I can't do today but I can do tomorrow (Tuesday) 8pm-12pm PDT.
If there is an issue with time you can have to the end of the weekend if a time cannot be met amongst every one in the group. Then who ever shows up to a set time (you need at least 3 people) if that does not work then I will choose 2 players randomly to continue on. You now have a deadline please make it.

Also, I suggest if there are 3 players then a 3 player map should be used, if there are 4 use a 4 player map. 2 => 2. Otherwise the players that are near the empty bases (especially terrans) get an unfair advantage. There's tons of interesting 2-3-4 player maps, so it shouldn't be hard. People could suggest maps too.
