this marauder/ghost/viking/bc composition reminds me of slayers_ryung from 4 months ago, but he abandoned the style and it has always been his worst matchup.

ghosts are getting great EMPs but there are so many templar that storms are still annoying. BC using yamato on rocks to avoid feedback from templar..

it used vortex on the BCs, but only 2 archons jumped in so they all survived. it also has a recall, but no stasis.

basically vortex sucks in the units. they all pop out together which makes archon splash OP. "archon toilet"
it is how squirtle killed MVP's maxed out BC army in the last GSL final.

Hmm so vortex is kinda like lockdown but aoe and sucks stuff in like a black hole, and they clump up together, so archon splash will fuck shit up. I think I'm beginning to understand how unmanly toss is in scToo

It almost only sees play in PvZ. It is often the best way to kill off huge Brood Lord armies, but with good spreading zergs are dealing with it better now and protoss is forced to do more harassment instead of deathball army.

Archons don't do a lot of damage to bcs though, the typical archon toilet is against broodlords.

Good you posted that, it's important to point out that while the game tonight was not perfect by either player, stuff like this still does happen at the pro level (this being a finals of the biggest event, with the terran as the best in the world by far).
