Ok, congrats to all that made it! I have a couple of questions though and I want to make it publicly. I'm asking directly Wands and Rush for aka's before ASL, pm me or do it here, I want your iccup accounts you played with before this league. I didn't knew either of you before you signed up for this, never heard of Wands or Rush. So if you guys can please do that. And btw Shimy Wands made B- on both his Wands acc and his ASL.Wands acc last season. He said he is still allowed to play in this if it was made during the tourney and I take his words for it. I want to point out something interesting though, I happened to play like 6-7 games with him about a week ago where I remember winning only one and getting absolutely crushed and dominated by him. I am a C+ player that can beat often B rank players on ladder. I don't feel a C level player can live up to the challenge to completely own me and not be B rank for a long period of time. That is just a thought, but lets say thats true, OK. What about Rush ? He dropped only 1 game so far in the group stages playing the hardest race - Terran. Rush, who's rush ? Anyone heard of Rush before ? Where does he play, does he have a team ? He is completely dominating everyone playing solid B terran, for that IM SURE! So I gues my last question goes to Shimy since they are both canadians and he is canadian himself. Is this all for the 1st and 2cond prize money or am I mistaking here ? Answer with honesty if you are a man, if not, lie to all of us here, it doesn't matter, because that was not a fair league it seems. Though its most likely that me and action will lose in the semis we are going to give them a run for their money, whoever these players are.
PS Shimy I thought you were a cool guy, but its clear why you host this league now.

Now really, you're entitled to ask any questions you like, but calling out Shimy and basically calling him corrupt isn't cool :/

Warning - Wall of Text
I can only speak for myself and what I have witnessed since I don't really know anything about Rush or Shimy either. If you missed my blog that I posted way back in the ASL Group stages in late April http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=331986 it explains my background information. So first please read that blog post first if you haven't read it and then read this post.
To continue further from my blog since it has been a month and half now - I have been training full force since then. Add my 500 games that I played in April and now add another 700 games since then. Also I have been analyzing my own replays and I also talk strategy with others. You could track all my games through my WandS account on iccup and Fish, ASL-WandS on iccup, BOSS.WandS on iccup, 2 smurfs on iccup, and 1 smurf on Fish that I'd still like to keep it a secret. The 3 smurfs have all been made after the ladder stage of the ASL since I did not want to leak any information to my opponents for future stages in the ASL.
To answer your question on why I think I beat you that time just the day before our ASL ro8 games. I prepared very well in preparation for Mewka and knowing beforehand that it would be another PvP in the semifinals – I was able to heavily practice in the PvP matchup for the last 3 weeks right after the games were broadcasted for the Ro16. My university school term ended since mid April, therefore giving me much more free time than you, since I think I read that you had exams that were in the way of your games with Lumire to reschedule. My practice regimen consisted of majority of PvP games on the maps that were set. Also I am very fortunate that Protoss players that were above my skill were able to help me train and give me a lot of pointers that I feel elevated my game to a new level in the specific matchup.
Okay now on the part of what I know about RusH and Shimy through my own eyes. The 1st time I met Rush was when I played him in the ASL ladder stage I think midway of the season. Since it said he was from CA (Canada) - I am a very curious person so I wanted to know where in Canada he lived and shockingly he lives in the same city and this may seem too good to be true but I swear that I had no clue that he lived here or even know that there was other Brood war players in this small city since it’s not a major city in Canada and also the fact that Brood war players are extinct nowadays. Well to be fair, I am fairly new in this city since I just attend University in this city and go back home in another city for the summer which has been going on for the last 3 years, with the exception of this summer where I am staying in this city. So naturally I was more curious since after discovering he lives in the same proximity as me and the disbelief that there is another Brood War player – I spat out more questions like, what school do you go to? how old? male/female? etc. We played a couple of PvZ games where I won convincingly and felt that he would be no threat in the ASL tournament. Now fast forward today and he is beating players left and right with ease with another race altogether and I too was concerned and even questioned his eligibility. But I trust the staff and if they say Rush is eligible – then I can be happy knowing it’s a fair tournament and practice as much as possible and hope for the best.
Now onto Shimy – I first talked to Shimy when he wanted to do an interview on Day #6 since I climbed the #1 spot in the ladder stage. At the time I thought Shimy was just a regular admin snooping in the ASL channel, but soon after I found out he was the organizer. Since I got top 6 in the ladder stage, I was entitled to choose the players in my group with the other top 6 players. In order to do this smoothly – Shimy and I exchanged skype user names and Shimy made a chat room with the rest of the top 6. So now since I have Shimy as a friend on skype and since he’s a nice guy – he would sometimes give me a heart-warming ‘good luck’ before my match. A week ago I asked Shimy if he wanted to be a manager for BOSS since I felt Shimy is a great promoter and would be a great fit for a great manager for the BOSS team – due to him organizing the ASL tournament and treating everyone with courtesy, so I asked KisS (leader of BOSS) if he was interested in Shimy, so Shimy and KisS had a 1 on1 conversation between each other, but it didn’t work out since Shimy is busy with other obligations within the Brood war community and just busy with life in general. Other than that there is nothing else between us.
If you knew me well enough – I would never personally want to take advantage or hurt anyone. But now I realized I have hurt some people due to me widening the gap in skills between myself and the other ASL players by dedicating too much time to practice. So I am now stuck in a bind since I feel I did not break any rules for the ASL league – but I feel bad for the ASL players that did not have as much time as I did to practice or did not receive the same treatment that I got from other players to help me.

First off, I'm aware of WandS B- accounts. I've stated this, along with Eywa-, that after the beginning of the tournament, players are encouraged to improve as much as possible. After the ASL got rolling, the improvements of these players were definite. WandS achieving B- is the best feeling I have gotten from this tournament. That was my goal! To help the C rankers improve and give them something to play for :D It's not like he just got that because he was that gosu to begin with though!
WandS has literally played thousands of games since the beginning of the ASL. I see him on Fish when I get on at least 3-4 times a week. He plays this game. You have even stated yourself that you do not practice as much as you'd like and then you go and call out RuSh and WandS for being too good? I'm sorry, but they didn't get good because they sat around and never played BW during the course of this tournament. They WANT this money. I've talked to both of them, and I know that they train hard for it. I respect them so much for that too 
As for RuSh, he's on [PaiN] and was formally on SL].. . He's played mostly on Fish achieving 1089 or something like that. He's such a nice guy and I too have him on skype and talk to him. I respect him and know for a fact that he wasn't B at the start of this tournament and is not B now (No offense to RuSh).
Also, I'm not Canadian O_o I don't know where you got that, but everyone can vouch for that lol Eywa is Canadian and maybe that's where you got that from, but I'm as American as you can get ;D And even then, bias race and nationality is stupid. I don't know a single person who does that o,o
The prize distribution is not ideal and I know this. It was stated as that at the release of the tourney.

Do.Not.Talk.Like. That. I feel so bad that you don't think about yourself as a good player or have confidence! Did you not see Fold beat WandS in PvP in the group stages? Also, don't speak for your teammate like that! Did you see his sheer dominance against S2Glow?(No offense to S2Glow, they were epic games imo ;D)
They are practicing for you guys, so maybe you should practice for them! I really like you Wallace and I'm disappointed that you don't like me, but don't make excuses and please don't accuse me of things that I would clearly never do. Best of luck to you in the Semifinals.

I knew Shimy would straighten this out easily . Wands, your performance in the tournament proves it as a success, and a worthwhile endeavor. Driving improvement is exactly what this was meant to do, and you have risen to the challenge. I hope to be casting you more in future, in a variety of tournaments, where your attitude to the game will allow you to challenge the best.

Ok, Wands I read your blog, read your post here, as well as Shimy's post and I gues I was obviously wrong about everything then. I want to apologize to you all for this, the only reason I wrote this was because I really had no clue and was suspicious what was going on since I never knew Rush and Wands before this league. But now everything cleared up and I gues the only thing I can do is congratulate you both for playing so much and dedicating yourself in order to get better. I never knew how to do that and I respect it. And Shimy you are right, you are american, I just saw, I got confused about that as well. I apologize big time to you too, because you did awesome job with this league actually and I personally think you are a great person. I ask you all to disregard my post, it is irrelevant now. I just hope we can put off a great show in the semis and I will try my best. I want to be fair here, not giving excuses, I never do that, but Wands, I won't be able to prepare well for our games at all. I barely played PvP last week and right now I am moving out from my university accommodation so this will occupy me until our games basically. I just hope I have good internet connection since I am moving to my sister's place for some time until I fly back to Bulgaria. Anyways, again, that is no excuse and I will give it my best shot so keep it up. My apologies again, take care! glhf
