Think the problem with it is larvae, you need 3 hatcheries generating larvae to match hydralisk production to be competitive and to use all of your gas / mins when you have 2 gas. And getting up to that is just impossible vs a ling / muta timing vs current builds. On maps where there is a cliff or high ground behind your natural minerals mutalisks could also dance there infinitely and you can't use your hydras against it at all, which is like 90% of all maps now. | ||
