Mind and Barracks probably are options but when youre at 3-1, probably better to send wookie and have him get more playtime since mind has experience playing under pressure.
hoejja was the man to send to finish the night but now he's putting himself in a tough spot

sure it does, or else where is the suspense when a player doesn't manage to do shit all game?
Really man, come on now.

I don't get it. What's with the protoss overextending themselves with expansions in PvT this season? Is there really a reason to have 8 bases to terran's 3? This game was almost a replay of Stork vs Fantasy earlier this season. This is like the carrier syndrome of 2010. What a disappointment. The point is if your build allows for a terran to take a 3rd at a fast timing the max push always favors terran. So protoss has to wither down the ball by throwing waves of units at it. Or protoss can try to break terran by throwing waves of units at it. Either way, to do that you need good eco In theory. I never see that actually working. Waste of resources, lack if tech, lack of harass, nothing but a bunch of expansions. Your eco is spread out so terran can't kill it fast enough with the remnants of the army that remains. Of course, it relies on the protoss trading decently with the terran in the first battle, and having some bank. Jangbi engaged terribly and Flash pushed early enough and did enough harass to negate some of Jangbi's eco. That entire strategy relies on terran killing you. Do you understand what I'm getting at? The terran army can't kill you fast enough because you're everywhere. If he doesn't manage his army correctly, you'll overwhelm his push and you will be even or ahead on bases. Then taking and defending expansions becomes difficult for terran after the push. Think of the protoss like a (greek mythology) hydra at this point: terran has to cut off all the heads at once or he's in trouble. That doesn't make sense. If a protoss "has" to have a 4:1 base ratio against terran just to survive, there is nothing stopping terran from taking 1 more base while the protoss rebuilds his nexuses, and more importantly his infrastructure. If resources and supply weren't being spend on having double the worker count as terran, maybe protoss wouldn't have to rely on having a million bases to survive.
Have you looked at the map. Taking that extra base means half your army has to camp there to keep it from being harassed. Terran has no viable harassment options against late game toss, late game toss has multiple viable harassment options.
Also terran is starting to mine out of his main and natural by the time his initial doom push runs out of steam, having a mining base is extremely different from having a CC sitting at home. Realistically all the toss needs to do is guarantee 2 mining bases in the late game and he wins, because the single 1 the terran has will be constantly harassed. Jangbi GG-ed after his second mining base was taken out.

Yeah it seems like most people have ridiculously high standards for games Well I wouldn't call this hydrabust game good... I wouldn't either and I'd be surprised if anyone who wasn't a fan of the winner would. I guess "most" and "ridiculously" are a bit of an exaggeration.
