Sonic is a well known BJ on Afreeca who hosts events featuring well known ex-pro, semi-pro and amateur Brood War players, sponsored in the main by his own business, Sinbal Farm, and the donations of his viewers on Afreeca.
Previous incarnations of his BJ Starleague have been won by the likes of Terror, Force[Name] and Shinee. Season 6 includes former OZ progamers HiyA, Anytime, Sky[kaL], Sexy and BackHo, OSL winner Casy and two-time OSL semi-finalist Pusan.
Sunday night's round of 16 group will be co-commentated by none other than the God of War, JulyZerg and Monday night's games will feature a short guest cast by former MBC, now OGN, commentators Lee Seung Won and Yu Dae Hyun.

There are a couple of other people who might be able to stream Sonic's cast of the games, depending on whether or not bgvrt wants to or not. If you are able to restream the event (especially if you're in Korea and can watch Afreeca with no buffering) then I'm sure people would be appreciate it.
Wish there were legit VODs for this... I can't handle the bandwidth spent on watching someone's Afreeca buffer every 10 seconds lol. Send Sonic a message like 'get a youtube account' !

The fact that this was completely unnoticed by the foreign scene makes me wonder how many other bw events are going on in Korea right now with ex-pros that we have no clue about.

Unfortunately it's not really common practice for BJs to post VODs like the ones Hodduk posted for his Ro32, this is because all their money comes from viewer donations (rather than ads like on Twitch or YT) and viewers are only able to donate when the broadcaster is live. For example when Terror ran his Starleague his stream was online 24/7 for the better part of a month so that he was able to collect the residual donations from viewers who weren't able to watch live but were tuned in to the rebroadcast. It is possible that there are fan recorded VODs hidden on a daum cafe somewhere but searching for them is nigh on impossible without being fluent in Korean.
As a result of this basically any VOD that I can produce has to come from an Afreeca stream and is likely to have some amount of buffering, what consists of too much is something that is up to the individual viewer. The last few nights in particular have been pretty harrowing, I'm not entirely sure why it has been so bad. If you just tuned in for the first time for Group B and were scared off then it might be worth your time to give it another try on another night this week.
bgvrt's VODs aren't set to public at the moment but hopefully someone ask in his chat (or he might see this post) and they can be added on LP, he has shown most of the Ro16 from Sonic's stream.
OP is updated with the schedule for the remainder of the tournament although, as always, it's possible some of the times could be changed. The LP pages have all the VODs from my stream added now, anyone who missed the live broadcasts can find them there now although be warned, Group A and B are both pretty messy in terms of buffering and Group C gets pretty bad towards the end as well.
I've also re-uploaded some VODs from Twitch channel and local recordings to the YT and they're linked in the OP now, I'll try to put any series which is both entertaining and relatively buffer-free on YT in the future.
this play is awesome. It is amazing how much he is doing at once. he just knows what to do, where and with no hesitation. Its amazing. the FPV is incredible. Thx for this!

Where's sAviOr? Does he not get to play at all since the MFS or is he seeded up a bit higher?
Remember reading somewhere that he was banned from this tourney too(?)
It's more that he was not invited than he was banned, Sonic had sAviOr in a few previous tournaments but it attracted some negative attention (for obvious reasons) and so now there are no KeSPA banned players in any of Sonic's events.
Sorry for any confusion earlier, Sonic changed the start time for tonight's games but I didn't read the bulletin he posted carefully enough and ended up not finding out until 15 minutes after I thought things were supposed to start.
If one were to market this as the successor to the MSL I'm sure there'd be people watching, but I'm not convinced of the legitimacy of such a statement ^^
Does anyone know when the RO4 will be broadcasted, and whether there will be another league when this one is done?

I think everything is going to be casted from this tour
and there are certainly going to be more leagues like this
Regarding the remainder of the tournament, I'm not sure if I will be able to stream the semifinals and I definitely won't be home for the final. If anyone knows someone who is capable of re-streaming Afreeca please ask them about streaming the final on Saturday night. If worst comes to worst Sonic will be rebroadcasting his cast of the final all next week so there will definitely be VODs of it at some stage but I know most people prefer to watch it live.
The fact that I won't be home for the final didn't occur to me until a few days ago when I was adding in the schedule to the OP, if I'd known sooner then there might have been a bit more time to find another way for people to watch but if there does end up being no live stream for the final, I'm sorry T_T.
