overpool or 9pool is not standard at all, you lose so much econ doing it compared to 12hatch. you only go pool before hatch if you're trying to deny scouting and force protoss to make cannons before his nexus or all-in behind it. | ||

Not sure if you're being sarcastic but that's all I got since I'm terrible at BW Fwiw, I think he managed to negate most of Killer's econ advantage with the lost mining time alone from that pylon in Killer's nat. What won Killer the game was the fake hydra bust which Snow completely overreacted to. Or maybe Killer saw that Snow overreacted and decided to stop making hydras. Either way, that won the game. That and excellent, excellent flanking. | ||

So we went from 12 hatch being like 2 ccs of one rax to overpool being cheesy or something ? Guys... Both are standard, overpool is probably the most played at pro level though. | ||

The only time I see hatch first is on 4 player maps and even that is risky because you're depending on the P to not scout you early. | ||
