Dear's build specifically utilized the nearly asinine concept of attempting to push Terran on Jade on that gigantic uphill ramp that connects to the third. Terrans, after taking out a reaver can play super calm. The 8 gate was the supreme followup that would punish Light for skimping out on mines, and depending on mass tanklines on the ramp - after all he had just gotten a third and had apparently nothing to fear after taking so little damage from the reaver. Dear already knew that terrans favor getting a quick third on such a comfy map like Jade so he played Light into complacency. He threw away the reaver and did not at all have to do much damage at all. - i.e, he had to guarantee that the shuttle at least made it into Light's main which is why he waited until speed finished until he sent his reaver. All in all, well researched, deeply thought out, and brilliant; something that most viewers would just view as lucky or nothing impressive at all. | ||
