Was rooting for my countrymen in SC2 so didn't catch PL but wow, Turn is in really really impressive form. You could say the same for Flash but it's not like it's at all surprising. | ||

Doesn't deep six hit with +1 armor timing on engi bay? Turn skipped the engi bay and even had delayed range(range didnt finish until he got close to stats his base) meaning the timing hit very early despite the reaver coming out. | ||

Precisely, no eng bay means no turrents to deny observer scouting, instead his build aims to hit at the timing that an observer arrives in the first place, to allow insufficient time to respond. | ||

That's the point, didn't look like a prepared build at all, more of a "fuck it" plop down 5 rax, an acad and go destroy reaction. | ||

Probably the reason why he was able to win even though Stats scouted it. Pushing as early as he did meant that Stats didn't have enough time to build up a gateway army or get enough reavers. And Stats made a mistake with his reaver, dropping it where it could be hit by two of the tanks, which allowed Turn to continue to push into Stats' base. I wonder what Stats could have done differently to stop it... Edit: lol @ Kwanflow chart! Best flowchart ever! | ||
