I guess at the back of my mind I knew that our dear coaches would field barracks for experience and Action because he is good.

Action is the ultimate practice room Bonjwa. And supposedly he looked awesome in the offseason during practice. But yes, he does have a tendency to just fail on the big stage.
I don't know if he can ever take the next step. Jangbi was losing like crazy for a long time, even though he performed well in practice. And he came around. I'm guessing KT thinks eventually Action's inhouse performance would transfer to actual performance. That and KT really has no zerg depth. They really could've picked up someone like Shine in the offseason.

jeez, if this was Bo5 with ace KT would wreck so hard. stats and flash hwaiting! fbh fighting!

1) source on practice bonjwa? I hear that about so many players i wonder where people keep hearing that.
2) KT has a ton of not-horrible zergs (action, hoejja, perfective, crazy-hydra), the last thing they need is another not-horrible zerg (such as shine). FFS they played 4 zergs in the grand finals lol.

ACE doing some serious work tonight. Coming back from 0-2 to win 3-2 was awesome to watch. GGGGGGGG

1. This stretched back to his estro days when Artosis had inside info. Also, coaches send players who do well in practice. This is well known enough that you don't source.
2. I guess we can only agree to disagree here.

IMO any artosis-estro info must be discarded lol. "really is 2nd best terran after flash"

holy shit i didn't know it was stats who played the first game! i thought it was some new player!

i think action just doesn't do well because of nervousness, theres been a lot of talk how about good he is in practice but well things don't always translate to success if you're playing on the line on the main stage. just look how much he was sweating in that last game, and he's been like that in his games usually. he just always messes up somehow like a reverse-savior. maybe i could be wrong but that's what i've concluded from the games i've seen him play
KT just has to improve what they've got now because theres nothing else to get these days.

I said stretch back. I didn't say that was the only source. As noted above. Since I'm not a KT fan, I don't follow their interviews as much as my own team. And that was the only source I remembered off the top of my head. I mean, I know internet is serious business and winning an argument on it is highlight of my day. But I wasn't about to do research on a mediocre zerg on a team I don't relaly care fo.

im not trying to have an argument or anything, I just feel like a lot of the time people on TL get carried away with rumors or un-proven accusations/claims and they just get accepted as fact by a lot of people. so a lot of the time when I read something in a LR thread about practice bonjwas or something that I haven't previous read in an interview I take it with a grain of salt lol

stats/flash v2.0 winning
everyone else losing
hmm...looks like KT, alright
|
Wow, I file this one to "accident", even though it is way too early to say this, but seems like the "lower" teams are doing better with the new format. Flashs game was really cheeky ^^
|
Didn't KT pick up mind? Wonder why they didn't send him out.
|
I missed the games due to work. How is Flash 2.0 doing?
|
omfg I had to go to work after Flash's game expecting a 3:0, I MISS THIS? GODDAMN IT WORLD

Hard to tell, he got a pretty big BO win (3hatch before pool vs rax cc). Great had to take risks anyway if he wanted to beat Flash ZvT.
But I remember reading an interview saying he was stronger than ever !

Why would you send Action for the ace match =/
On the other hand, FBH kicking ass is pretty cool.
