1) Rules Concerning Decisions and Over-Rulings - All teams and players are subject to administrative Discretion. - Eywa- reserves full discretion over all decisions and procedures.

3) Rules Concerning Replays - All replays MUST be submitted to EywaSC@gmail.com by the winning player, failure to do so will result in reversal of the match(Only if opponent manages to send it in before the game is to be casted) otherwise, the set will result in a draw.
4) Rules Concerning Names - All players must use their most known ID, if you are unsure of which ID you should use, you should direct your PM to Eywa- (Exceptions may apply). - All players on a given team must have identical name tags. e.g: sas.Ace, sas.Sziky, LRM)Game, LRM)Kolll.
5) Rules Concerning PP matches - There will be no PP matches unless scheduled a minimum of 24 hours beforehand with Eywa-. - The league commissioner reserves the right to allow and/or deny any PP match applications. - Late applications for a PP match will be handled only if the opposition agrees.
6) Rules Concerning Conflicts/Drops/Miss understandings/Abuse - Any player found abusing in any way will be attributed with a permanent ban from the Gambit's Cup, in addition, the clan war which was abused in will be counted as a loss for the abusing player's team. - If a player disconnects from a game due to internet issues and/or Launcher issues, the player may be re-entered or subbed out. If the player is re-entered and drops a second time, the set will be counted as a loss by W.O. - IP conflicts between players will be handled on a case-to-case basis. - The use of an incorrect map will result in a draw for the set, both players will be banned from their next Nation War.(Rule #8 applies for rigged maps)
7) Rules Concerning Team Leaders - If a team leader cannot make it to a clan war or is to have a delayed arrival, they must inform the commissioner which player is to make the draw. - If a team leader is suspended, they cannot take place in the channel of the Clan War. - Team leaders are responsible to communicate with their players. - League officials reserve the right to communicate directly with players from the team if the task proves easier. If the team leader attempts to interfere with this alternate communication route, they will be subject to suspension. - Only team leaders may communicate with the league commissioner over concerns about the league unless otherwise indicated.
8) Rules Concerning IP - No Korean IP addresses(does not apply to managers so long as they do not participate in league games). - Players may be asked to surrender their IP address to the league commissioner at any time without notice. Refusal to provide will result in indefinite removal from the league.
9) Rules Concerning Roster Changes - There will be no roster changes 24 hours or less before a Clan War and/or PP Set. - Each team will reserve the right for only 2 roster changes between March 1st and 31st. - Each team will reserve the right for only 1 roster change post-March. This roster change cannot be used during the playoffs - There will be no mass migrating of players from one team to another within the Gambit's Cup, you can recruit at will from outside, but any trade/acquisition from other teams within the Gambit's Cup will be reviewed by the league commissioner. - Players with former cases hacking and abuse must contact the league commissioner before being admitted to play in this league. Eywa- reserve the right to refuse these players. - Team Rosters must not exceed 15 players + 3 organizers. - For all additions to the roster, leaders must submit their player along with country and race (Name/Country/Race). All other formats will be ignored.
10) Rules Concerning W.O Timers - The first players must be announced and not afk at 15 past the hour else, league officials reserve the right to grant a W.O to the opposition of the offending team. - After each set, either team will have 5 minutes after the opponent's player is announced to submit their player and have him ready to go into the game. Maximum wait time cannot exceed 10 minutes(if neither team submits for 6 minutes, you'll only have 4 minutes after your opponent submits theirs). - A team cannot prevent more than one set from starting for more than 5 minutes.
11) Rules Concerning BM - No BM in game whatsoever, do not try to do the "I didn't directly bm my opponent". If your chat has bm underlying it, you will be affected by this rule. - (Chat in game at your own risk) - Mandatory gg - All players must type out with "gg". - No offensive gg - An offensive gg will result in the reversal of the set. - No BM or flaming will be tolerated in Official Gambit Cup threads, failure to abide by this rule will result in action taken against the offending team at organizer's discretion. - In channel BM will be moderated by the official Gambit Cup referee which is present at the time of the offense. (Do so at your own risk) - No BM of league officials. 1st offense: 1 week suspension. Further offences: x! weeks of suspension, x = #of offenses. BM offenses will be handled upon report. If you feel your opponent should be disciplined according to this rule, you must report him to eywasc@gmail.com, make the title of your e-mail clear with your intention.
12) Rules Concerning Spoilers Anyone who spoils results from their game and/or clan war will receive a ban from the Gambit's Cup of an undefined duration.
13) If you have any questions about the rules, you must contact Eywa-, not knowing the rules or misinterpreting them is not an excuse.

FAQ:
What if I don't have enough players? - Join with another team or recruit some. If you're already participating in iCCupCL, you almost have enough as it is. [T/N: if you participate in the Gambit's Cup you are sure to gain interest from players who aren't currently in the league]
Why does it have to be on Fish Server, why not iCCup? - It is on Fish because iCCup did not allow it to be hosted and too many people have complained about the cd-key issue for it to be on any of the battle.net servers.
Who can play in the ACE match? - Anyone on the roster may play in the ace match even if they have already played once in the CW, though they don't have to have played in the first 6 games in order to be eligible. (Applies only for SPL style, SWL style will proceed with the 4th pick of the team who loses game 6 vs the winner of game 6)

I would like you to re-read the rules slightly more carefully, as I said, I will be making an announcement soon, but I have a lot to deal with this weekend which include but not limited to Gambit's Cup, Altitude Nation Wars, English Class reading, Family in town, eat and sleep. So, I'll be writing about that on Monday as noted in the above post I made.

Concerning BM The first week of the Twitch.tv Gambit's Cup has gotten off to a great start and everything ran relatively smooth. However, there were issues concerning BM which I had not originally addressed in the rules mostly due to having several ongoing projects/rule sets. Now this is more of a warning message, due to the BM being mostly in game, no player has really committed an offense as such. Though, this calls for a rule change.

Rules concerning BM in channel and in the thread have already been addressed by the OP and so are not listed here. All BM offenses are cumulative - After 3 months without an offense, you will restart with a clean slate.

I think that schedule must be balanced for everyone, because the situation when every team is asking to put them anywhere is leading to situation where other team is being placed on time and date they do not like. So the best decision in my opinion is making equal friday and sunday playdays for each team.

No, the decision is based on who can make it on Friday and who just can't be bothered to make it on Friday or for whom its "inconvenient". Honestly, I don't want sas on Sundays, its one of the worse teams to be there from my perspective, however, they are severely disadvantaged if they played on Fridays. Everyone is complaining about Fridays, when they managed to field a team. Also, I'll look into what you said about balancing the teams who play on Sundays.
I would also like to take this opportunity to discuss Pre-Played Matches. If one of your players has an issue with a given date, you can tell me ahead of time and I'll arrange to have the match PP'd. Now of course, if you want the match to work out, the more time you give me, the better.

Hey guys, I'll be updating the results from last week tonight as well as making schedule changes for the remaining weeks leading up to Christmas. I also have something to say concerning last week's problems that were encountered which will be described in the remainder of this post.
Last week, team iFU was displeased with a league ruling which was given to them concerning the third set of their game. Rule #8 was stated to their leadership before their decision was made to re-enter a player following a launcher issue. This resulted in dM- receiving a W.O for set #3. iFU then proceeded into mass BM and left the channel shortly after. Until their position concerning their involvement in the league is made clear, no further disciplinary action will be announced concerning the other offenses committed.
I hope we can continue on with some good manner CWs!

No, what you are referring to came after the first bm offense when Game sent me the ss and asked what the call was, I came to TL to double check rules, made the decision and delivered it. I gave you the decision, dOtY refused to enter game, so I set W.O timer. Also, this procedure ensures I don't lose control because if you go nuts you gtfo and it ends there. I just reminded all teams I have spoken with so far about the BM rules so that they don't go out of line.

Heh, it's not really miss leading... It's the reality of the situation. They have the win. To not put it would make teams think they can pass them when in reality they can't. That's more miss leading imo. Like in sports, if someone has more wins than another team with more games played, they don't wait till even #of games to add them. Of course I see that this situation is a little different, the point of it is I don't want teams to show up every week for a team that's not playing.
Either way teams have to read on the situation, this way they'll just realize they have to read on the situation.
Also, as for All-Star game, I pick players based on performance from top 4 teams. Teams in 1st/2nd get more seeds than 3rd/4th.

Of course at the time you didn't care because you planned to quit after the first offense then later you're like... Oh wait, I guess one week wouldn't have been so bad because I still want to play... Guys, it's only season 2 so there must be un-admitable rules. As ICCup admin i know it's hard to make rules or make decisions. My advice is you guys just drop it(like what eywa said). Eywa's trying to do something awesome for bw community.
Sorry to tell you this, but you guys should admit admins' decisions. The most important thing is you lose chances to play vs High rankers. Frankly it's hard to find players on iCCup not because of timezone. Users not familiar with korean are usually play on iCCup.

According to the PP rules,
5) Rules Concerning PP matches - There will be no PP matches unless scheduled a minimum of 24 hours beforehand with Eywa-. - The league commissioner reserves the right to allow and/or deny any PP match applications. - Late applications for a PP match will be handled only if the opposition agrees.
We(kiborg/hyeon) made agreement 3hrs before CW starts, so it still is activated. Also we agreed to play from 2(iWL) - 1(Gt) on this.

According to the PP rules,
5) Rules Concerning PP matches - There will be no PP matches unless scheduled a minimum of 24 hours beforehand with Eywa-. - The league commissioner reserves the right to allow and/or deny any PP match applications. - Late applications for a PP match will be handled only if the opposition agrees.
We(kiborg/hyeon) made agreement 3hrs before CW starts, so it still is activated. Also we agreed to play from 2(iWL) - 1(Gt) on this.

Did you ignore the rule just above the one you put in bold? I have never allowed the relocation of an entire clan war so no, Gt loses 4-1. The fact that you didn't even run it by me means you knew you were doing something incorrect but you expect that "oh if I don't tell Eywa- he'll be forced to apply it."

According to the PP rules,
5) Rules Concerning PP matches - There will be no PP matches unless scheduled a minimum of 24 hours beforehand with Eywa-. - The league commissioner reserves the right to allow and/or deny any PP match applications. - Late applications for a PP match will be handled only if the opposition agrees.
We(kiborg/hyeon) made agreement 3hrs before CW starts, so it still is activated. Also we agreed to play from 2(iWL) - 1(Gt) on this.

The rule which i made bold, it only applies to SPL style(still weird for me the pp rule in that style), doesn't it? We can't set pp match in SWL style, like before CW starts i say "it will be 2-3 and let's make it postponed."
If you are not going to allow us to play rest of the matches, at least make the reasonable PP rules which can also be applied to SWL style just like what you made with BM rules.

There's nothing to be done about PP in SWL style, quite frankly, it's impossible, however being as you need 2 less players to complete a full line up and I wouldn't allow more than 1 or 2 PPs previously, I really don't see the issue. The score of Gt vs iwL is final, done, over. 4-1, you would have had enough players had you not told them it was postponed in the first place. Only one of your players ended up having the random tour prevent them from playing...

According to the PP rules,
5) Rules Concerning PP matches - There will be no PP matches unless scheduled a minimum of 24 hours beforehand with Eywa-. - The league commissioner reserves the right to allow and/or deny any PP match applications. - Late applications for a PP match will be handled only if the opposition agrees.
We(kiborg/hyeon) made agreement 3hrs before CW starts, so it still is activated. Also we agreed to play from 2(iWL) - 1(Gt) on this.

Did you ignore the rule just above the one you put in bold? I have never allowed the relocation of an entire clan war so no, Gt loses 4-1. The fact that you didn't even run it by me means you knew you were doing something incorrect but you expect that "oh if I don't tell Eywa- he'll be forced to apply it."

The rule which i made bold, it only applies to SPL style(still weird for me the pp rule in that style), doesn't it? We can't set pp match in SWL style, like before CW starts i say "it will be 2-3 and let's make it postponed."
If you are not going to allow us to play rest of the matches, at least make the reasonable PP rules which can also be applied to SWL style just like what you made with BM rules.
There's nothing to be done about PP in SWL style, quite frankly, it's impossible, however being as you need 2 less players to complete a full line up and I wouldn't allow more than 1 or 2 PPs previously, I really don't see the issue. The score of Gt vs iwL is final, done, over. 4-1, you would have had enough players had you not told them it was postponed in the first place. Only one of your players ended up having the random tour prevent them from playing...

Hell Eywa, If you want to talk about bm actions I suggest you look at those shown by LocDog on several games vs iFU not only did he accuse my player of cheating and flame him in front of many on stream, but while playing alfio, he stallled out his game for which my player asked him to leave locdogs actions have now been turned back on my team.which is a joke. and take eye on this. locdog stay on the game not for bad gg timing.just for save time. and this is not fair.imo this get punish too.he also confirm in the rep
1) eOnzErG, your own player told AlfiO to cool it in game because he knew that there would be a suspension.
2) eOnzErG, LocDog's chat was in some language I don't understand... I don't even know what he was saying.

4) It's nearly impossible to moderate stalling a game and bad GG timing, though I agree with LocDog's case, it was obviously stalling, however... There is no rule against it, it's the first time it's ever happened. If it becomes a real problem you will see it dealt with.
5) AlfiO, all of your posts got nuked before I could check them out, so... I'll just go with the assumption that they were nice comments and avoid further implications with the rules...
6) This case is closed, you can leave more comments if you like, but they will not be responded to unless they are bm in which case you will be subject to rule application.

You can say "oh yeah he can all kill" but if the team itself isn't even committed to show, they shouldn't get that leniency anyway. Especially, no offense, when a team is getting bonus points off team pain who is way down on the list when other teams don't get that luxury of winning 4-0 with only 1 win.

What you're saying is beyond bias because it would only affect LRM)... It's not fair either that other teams have a chance for 4-0 against the bottom two teams while they do not. There will be a rule change next season concerning the point season because it's impossible to factor walk overs into the equation and so, until we can get a reliable bunch of teams, I can't operate it this way, however, it's perfectly reasonable that, given the current dynamics of the league, LRM) gets 3 points for that win. I think I may just start handing out negative points for Walk Overs next season or something... It's still up in the air. However, that is not this season and this season, the rules stand as is.

Well that is inherent to a playoff system ofcourse. While I do prefer a system in which the 1st at the end of a season is the winner based on the fact that they have shown the best average performance, the playoff system does add in extra suspense to the end of the season with all or nothing matches. And since this is a playoff format we can only hope the suspense proves itself worthy after such a long season! But I never really understood the american preference towards playoffs though tbh :p

It is kind of true, perhaps I should have just invested less into the season and gone for longer playoffs because its a style that I like much to what Mango pointed out. It's really hard for me to compromise on the playoffs though being as last season, the playoffs were by far the best clan wars of all the Gambit's Cup... So, you could probably see a reduction in the seeding next season and more playoff action... As of yet, I'm unsure about how I want to configure it, but there will be some major format changes.

Okay, there's a lot of noise going on here, I don't want to reply to each individually because I don't want to call anyone out for anything.
First off, the replays don't have to be anti-spoilered on a week which I'm present = the naming difficulties are a moot point.
Secondly, I have said alternatives can be arranged if needed, however, they're not going to be any more convenient than the current procedure. This is the absolute easiest possible way I have found to get this done (from the player's perspective), every other alternative is easier for me, more work on you guys, so if you want to look into this, you all have my contact info and we can discuss it.
Also, I know people may not know what to do and how to do when it comes to e-mail, but I don't really care, just create the e-mail for them and tell them how to compose, attach, send... It's not that hard to learn. I will know if they sent it or you did (leaders), so don't try to cheat this system because you will have your set reversed.
Finally, I know nothing is perfect in this league, it's difficult to accommodate to so many different people and cultures within the time that I have at my disposal, the season is on its first big run, I would only expect it to get better from here (this being I don't really count season 1 as a good test of the foundations).

Due to being on the road today (so that I can be home for ISL3 tomorow), I won't be able to make it to the clan war today. Since it's winner's league there should be no issue with player selection. Anything else will be reviewed after the fact, just make sure you screen shot anything important. Just use 1, 2, 3 shout method for first player.

Ruh Roh, not the rules that are wrong... seems I forgot to give LRM set wins for 2 W.O CWs... I realized this when thinking about how it was logical and it wasn't not because of the rules, but because LRM's win total wasn't right. 12 wins = 48 SW and 4 losses all in game 7 = 12 SW.

Random point: this league is so good. Look at the win/loss/points/statistics balance. No team in the top 4 has under 60% win or over 67%, and all extremely similar records. The 5th and 6th team both bear arguably the top 2 players, and many other top players outside of Korea and are 11-5 and 10-6 with mid to high 50% statistics. When is GC3 mang?

It's been attempted, players and leaders are too hard to get hold of after their games, no one likes to do interviews for some reason and most don't have microphones and what not.

Casting 2 clan wars is not THAT much higher volume than 1... It's not like we're talking ISL here.

I'd really be all for this. Can each team throw out the names of 3 players, coaches or managers who have microphones and would be available for pre-game and post game interviews? If you guys can do this, we can get everyone set up before the playoffs, test and what not so that we don't run into issues on day of.

I don't think people want the cast to be delayed anymore than is necessary. I mean if it was of proleauge quality, sure. But I don't have proleague's player data/ wealth of games to refer back to/ fancy graphics/background music/two other people to talk with.
So then I can try to get that information out during the opening builds, but it's harder than it looks. I don't know who the first players are until the viewer does, because everything is anti-spolered, so I would have to go off of memory. And having to remember a new set of 40 records (which I have to calculate myself because we don't have a tlpd) for the 4 teams I will be casting that day is unrealistic. I tend to talk about team records and their general standings in the beginning, but that takes about 30 seconds and doesn't change for the rest of the set.
As for the maps... I cast aztec 10 times a week. It's a three player map, it's bad for terran, there is a small ramp that people get trapped trying to go up, and the reverse ramp is a bitch. I can't say that 10 times a week though. If I was casting Un'gorto crater or bakojomi then sure, I would have fun things to say. But it's the same maps every week that everyone already knows. I can say a little about it, but I try not to say too much for the same reason I don't explain why bio is bad vP: because everyone already knows, and it would get horribly repetitive if I talked about it every time there was a tvp (actually, considering how few terrans there are, maybe that was a bad example )
It also doesn't help that the majority of my gambit cup matches this month have been me filling in for lmaster last minute, so I didn't have time to prepare anything magical anyway.
As for the interviews, I don't think pregame interviews a a good idea. Again, people want to just get to the starcraft, and They won't have much to say. As for post game ones, maybe, but I'm a bit skeptical. Logistics will be a nightmare. Not everyone speaks English as well as you gotunk. A lot of the best players don't have mics. By the time the cast ends, it will be like 1 am for Europe, so odds are a lot of them won't stick around till the end to be interviewed. If there were no problems, it could be cool, but assuming there will be no problems is a giant leap.
I'm not opposed to improving my casts, but there are a lot of things that make casting harder than is initially apparent. If you have practical ways to implement these ideas, I'd be glad to hear them, but I haven't figured out a way yet.
I think all you can do is get more general data since you don't have immediate access to graph charts unless you had them somewhere on a side-tab (assuming someone formulated them)
i.e total win % for that m.u in Gambit on that map, and past CW history between the two playing teams.
iFU.AlfiO takes his third BM offense of the season and receives a 6 CW suspension. This suspension will drag on into the next season of the Gambit's Cup if applicable. Applies to playoffs as well.

Hmmm... You're actually right. CaStrO was added 23 hours, 30 minutes before the SS was taken, a fact that I had not really taken into account. However, he had not played till 4 sets later which means it was well over 24 hours before his game. In fact, you're trying to stir something up when the leader of the opposing team didn't even care enough to say anything about that 1/2 hour... Honestly, yeah, the rule was bent to the smallest extent, something that has been performed to a larger extent for such teams as dM, AoV, reps) and Nb. So, I mean, please don't go try and stir up dirt when it's hypocritical to do so (Some of these add-on were performed hours before the clan war. So, if you want to say it was wrong to do so, I really couldn't care less, I rather see games than no games (doesn't apply to LRM's case obviously), but given the ss is 1/2 hour before the 24 hour mark... Please finish your plate before you come posting here, you're not even a team leader, you're not on any of the teams you have named, you have no idea how stuff happens. I have always asked team leaders to send in their replays if they've been missing, teams which this apply to are Gt, iwL and Nb. I'll go out and ask for replays, in the case you're talking about, SneazeL had no case for Jumper and Jumper posted later apologizing.

The decision was made extremely quickly without a second thought, if LRM was on the other end of that definitely there would at least be some review and I bet we'd see some changes being made afterwards. The decision was made extremely quickly without a second thought, if LRM was on the other end of that definitely there would at least be some review and I bet we'd see some changes being made afterwards. Just be honest as LML pointed out YOUR OWN RULING states; within 24 hours of the CLANWAR not the specific set, seriously man you get defensive when you can't even back up your side of the argument, you clearly made a mistake and there are definitely inconsistencies. The fact that I was unrelated or not a team leader has nothing to do with this, just a cheap deflect of yourself to save face. In the end, this seriously puts a lot of stress on the scene as there has been way too much shady schemes going down and accusations, everyone is a dodger of these responsibilities when we should just take them head on.

As far as the case itself, iFU's claim was that CaStrO was added at the very beginning of the clan war. Which I denied and thus, I was not wrong, their claim was false. A screen shot was then presented to them well over an hour before CaStrO played. What does this mean? iFU's leadership either didn't care or was too ignorant to pay attention to their own clan war, either way, this is not a problem of mine. Seriously DraW, your post history in this thread is somewhat terrible and you have no real facts to back up what you're saying aside from "gossip".
Realistically, if I were to have applied the rules to their fullest extent many other things would have taken place, in fact, iFU would likely not be fielding a full line up next Saturday if I did. Let's be real here, yes, I'm trying to run a professional league, yes, I bend the rules at least once per week, but there is no favoritism to which these rules get bent towards, in fact, the rules have been bent more for iFU than for any other team (that being BM rules).

eleminating our best player iFU.Alfio with lagger peruvian Castro(that was not even allowed to play) from playoffs is seriously GG to my team. Bad thing that whole bw community know that peruvians lag... and Castro lags worse then koreans(that are banned from this league).
my team will decide soon if we boycott the playoffs or not! but we already up to do this!

but atleast make the playoffs look entertaining and worth to watch... let my player iFU.Alfio play. He already sad about his BM and wont act like this anymore.

i dont give a fuck about Alfio and other bm members of iFU, BUT i'd like to confirm that ZB is absolutely right about that Peruvian players lag a lot. Its like 90% players from Peru lags VERY hard. So that is the spot to be discussed, imo.

Staying calm and BMing are two different things, Alfio should learn to type gg and then go BM to team members instead of in game where he gets a ban for it. It's irresponsible as a player and a teammate since he knew the play offs were coming.
I have yet to be suspended from any GC since I was AoV or dM this season...so I dont know what you're talking about.
