With that kind of logic, every kind of rule change (including instituting the rule in the first place) would be unethical because players in the past weren't operating under the same conditions. Not that I believe KeSPA ever will, without some kind of super special circumstances... The rule was already changed when it was made legal to type any number of p's to request a pause. The underlying rule was kept because it's fundamentally sound.

You don't wait for players to abuse something and ruin a match or a set before making a rule. They tried that with chatting, and we all know how that ended. What happened with chatting? Why was it banned? Cant have any harm to chat right? Another example of Kespa's power rush imo. kind of silly.. everyone is waiting for flash's antics and measurement, delaing start of game like this. Killer has the best ling control on the scene at the moment... he was just behind in macro due to BO disadvantage

Also probably because no one makes 4:3 LCD monitors with good performance anymore. Not really. LCDs do not flicker while CRTs that do not have high enough refresh rates will tend to flicker (what CRTs do they even use?). Refresh rates is a non-issue since TFT panels can do true 120hz these days. CRTs have no input lag so what you do is what you see. No ghosting/reverse ghosting either but LCDs are good enough that that's a non-issue...I mean Starcraft 2 pros use them without any real complaints.

But if the builds are completely the fucking same and both players have done the same god damn thing, just replay the fucking match because it is absolutely even." even that rule would have led to them replaying it. If you wanna blame someone then blame Jaedong and Killer. it is still beyond my comprehension how people can go blind 12 hatch when they're a single match away from elimination. I guess some people never learn. obviously you must be new 12h in my opinion is one of the better BOs to lose with. solid micro and a bit of luck and you can hold. even jd said 9 pool was a shitty build that he routinely beat in practice with 12h.
