To say this was "disrespectful" is taking an LR thread's graphics way too seriously. Insulting one's mother and denigrating her weight is disrespectful; plastering a completely irrelevant player over a some graphics in an LR thread is just playful fun. Most of you realized it was a joke and found it hilarious, but some of you really ought to take yourselves less seriously. In any (e)sports fandom there are strong convictions but there should also be assumed respect. This was not a slap in the face, but quite simply a joke. The thread is otherwise perfectly functional. More than anything I was irritated that some people really seriously raged and denigrated the TL Broodwar section. It's one thing to be annoyed by the Bisu fanboys (in and of itself perfectly ok because we are indeed annoying), but to extend that annoyance to TL and the mods? Jeez. This is just like those funny GG.NoRE LRs that made Flash fans rage so much (except this one was an even more obvious joke). | ||
