Blown game by Snow.

What's the point of harassing when Zerg is on 10 Hatch and 7 base? They can make 30 Drones or 60 lings at a time ... eventually you'll get overrun if you don't build up a big army and actually go KILL the Zerg. Snow failed to kill a single Hatchery in the last 15 minutes of the game.

It's a wildly entertaining style to watch, but when you're that ahead in the midgame, build a big army and go kill the Zerg.

Well, he might have won if he did less harass and more defence and secured his second mining base. But soo is pretty damn good at ZvP so...

taking out drones is one thing, but when zerg has 8+ hatcheries just one round of larvae = all drones back

wow snow did so many good things and still it seemed to not hurt zerg at all who could just a-move lings, hydras and lurkers against storm and reavers to win.

You really do understand why pvz is so freaking hard when you watch a game like this.

Late game snow lost more resources with each shuttle drop than the zerg lost from the lost drones. Repeat times 10 and snow comes out with a huge deficit

I'm a huge Snow fan and I do think late game ZvP can be tough, but I really think that was just a blown game by him. By storming drones endlessly he just delays how long it takes for Zerg to mine out, because he's not actually bothering to build an army and take advantage of the mining interrupt. It's a flashy way of choking yourself to death. All that money spent harassing could have been spent assembling a huge army, holding your bases with Storm/Reaver, and then rolling out, which never happened.

That was actually almost depressing. =/ In spite of the relentless harass from Snow, he still couldn't take it. He should've expanded earlier, sure, but Soo could've spared himself the economic battering by placing a few spore colonies at each of his expansions. It would've cost him, but not nearly as much as all the drones he lost.

Doesn't really matter, I suppose, since he he won.

EDIT: Watching the replay, I see that Snow was at fault for his loss. Too much time and effort spent on taking out drones and not nearly as much time and effort spent on securing his own bases, not to mention he didn't take out a single one of Soo's bases.

Snow always gives us entertaining games tough. But he is so busy harrassing he forgets to expand and defend.

I don't understand PvZ... Kill 60 of drones through harass, the zerg can just rebuild them almost instantly.
