It's understandable that the time isn't great for Scan and JoeKim. Unfortunately, you guys are the two North Americans in a tournament run/casted/played in by Europeans, so we picked a time that was better for us :p

There's a reason we had all the qualification tournaments on Fridays. Saturdays are usually occupied by other (bigger) events, notably the ISL. For the next two weekends, it will be the 3v3 BGH tour taking up the prime Saturday slot. Sundays used to be taken up by other events as well, but they are an option now. However, since most of us have work/school on Monday, we would have to hold the tournament earlier to ensure a timely finish (some of you may remember the unfortunate 'finals' of Tesla's tournament that ended up being a WO due to how late it ran on a Sunday). This means you guys would have to wake up pretty early on a Sunday morning to play.

If the other qualified players could give their input on the time/date (and a potential change to Sundays), that would be much appreciated. Then I could discuss with xtS about changing the time.

i cant postpone the groups or change the date , but i think we will change semis and finals cuz of iccup season ends ...and iccup always closes the server/season before we know it

How could you not expect the tournament to be on a friday when the qualifications are all on a friday? If you can't play on that day, you should not have entered.

@Scan and JoeKim

I haven't been able to talk to xtS about this yet so wait for his confirmation, but I see no problem with you playing your games in advance and sending me the replays. Just remember that the format of the group stage is a little unusual. You must play 3 games against every other player in your group even if you win the first 2 games because the number of wins counts towards who advances. So, I should get 9 replays from both of you.

It will be up to you to contact your opponents and arrange games. If your opponent doesn't want to arrange a new time or the two of you can't agree on a time, then it will default back to the scheduled time on Friday. Obviously, please send me all the replays before the cast on the 27th.

Edit: If you end up tied with another player in your group but aren't around to play the tiebreaker, then I will have to let that player advance. As such, I'd recommend you show up on Friday even if you're late.
