Stars 4-2. Possible bias? Maybe, but I wonder how MBC gets the four wins here. Sea is obviously a threat to do something and should take a game, Tyson is also playing some good stuff of recent. Maybe Jaehoon can do his PvX enigma thing again. But, on the other hand, Stars is looking very solid in all races with free showing some sort of return to form, and also the addition of Light, whose inside knowledge will allow MBC to be picked apart.
Zero takes some potshots at Hyun's hatch but gets driven back by a superior force of lings. He immediately starts a sunken at his nat and pulls drones to help defend.

Mathematically impossible to overtake STX and MBC.
Templar tech gets added. Scourge fly down looking for the shuttle, but it's well protected. A pair of scourge kill a corsair that strayed too far from cannons. Shuttle heads out and scourge just barely miss it. DT gets dropped into the main, but overlords are everywhere.
Shuttle flies right through a pack of scourge but it's the muta that chase it down and kill it.
Jaehoon pushing out with a small army to take his third. CH with lurkers spread out everywhere and flying around everywhere with a huge flock of scourge and muta.
Instead of taking his third, he decides to attack into CH's nat. Lurkers force him back, but corsairs kill off the scourge before he loses anything. Reavers take a few potshots but don't deal much damage.
Jaehoon changes his mind and attacks into the 3rd at the 9 with everything he has. Storms and reavers kill everything. Corsairs cleaning up the air units. Jaehoon's army gets sandwiched by forces from the main! Storms are going off everywhere, but he loses his whole army. Only the corsairs make it out alive.
Jaehoon brings everything to defend his third as it completes, but he has nearly no ground forces left as CH streams lurkers, lings, and hydras. Jaehoon ggs after losing his last zealot.
I missed most of this game, could anyone summarize?
From what I saw, it appeared that Jaehoon went for early temp tech and was rebuffed Crazy-Hydra took the advantage and made an early 4th Jaehoon tried to go for timing attack to give himself a 3rd and get himself back into the game But Crazy-Hydra turned it aside through sheer macro and finished him off

i hope sea wins and soulkey comes out last.
Man, Sea vs Light would be epic!!! i know its TvT but, both of them haven't played an official kespa sanctioned match. (3-3 in odd tournaments?) Who would be the better player? Both have awesome TvTs, and have played countless practice matches with each other? will light use some sort of insider-knowledge to pull off a win? omgomgomgomgomgomgomg

lol BBS each other into MICRO WAR into LATE GAME TRANSITION BC WARS would be awesome
surely he should fly thoughs comand cnetres in next time he trys to use queens in a major battle. otherwise he's just hording infested comand centres. Maybe thier battle trophies or something
Agh. I like watching crazy stuff but it always feels bad when it's against your favorite team. Oh well, I'll take my solace in the fact that MBC is leading them in the win differential. MBC still fighting! Get your revenge in the remaining rounds!
For some reason, Woongjin-MBC matches are usually fun to watch, and usually have some crazy stuff going on. Looking forward to manner CCs by Sea in the next rounds
Oh, and congrats to C-H for the AK! I wish it didn't have to be against MBC and Sea in particular but that was one hell of a game.
Well, ZerO lost a ZvZ as usual, not too surprising there, but holy crap, Crazy-Hydra? What possessed you to do an all-kill? Were you channeling ZerO's angry spirit for revenge? o__O;; And darn, looks like I missed an epic last game from Crazy-Hydra... 2 consecutive infested CCs? Crazy-Hydra indeed. Happy that Stars won though! MBC, hope you'll do better in the regular rounds again.

Pretty much why the Woongjin coach bought Light, to deprive MBC of a zerg killer.
But thankfully WL is over. The rookie draft is on the 28th I believe. MBC trainees are ranked 1st (Dream.t)check), 2nd (wOw) and 12th (Crise) after the evaluation stage so there's still hope for the team.

And they're zergs!!! Sea and Tyson already have the Terran and Protoss ace spots held down.

These are by far the highest ranked rookies that MBC have ever had. Hopefully MBC will accept all 3 and they will adjust well to top-level play because for one reason or another many rookies don't.
Just watched VOD of Sea vs Crazy-Hydra--so good! I have a feeling CH will not be able to keep playing well, but I hope he does because 3 baller hive tech zergs are better than 2.
Great vs Mech play by CH. Infest actually helped to stop imba repair, broodling was excellent too. Loved the muta tech switch at the end too to finish it, he never looked in trouble at all. Macro slipping a bit but great game.
Wow a lot of great ZvTs coming from Woongjin lately - ZerO vs Flash, ZerO vs Baby, CH vs Sea? Maybe those last two are evidence of Light's positive influence on Woongjins' zergs' vT
I just watched CH vs. Sea, and the queen usage was brilliant. I would definitely want to see more of it, it definitely seems effective against mech if executed well.
One thing I would have liked to have seen in the game though, was the usage of the infested command center. Although infesting a cc is already very useful per se, I can't help but feel that the byproduct i.e. the infested cc itself is underutilised. I mean, it can be used it so many ways: delay a terran's expo, float it into the main and make infested terrans to harass & kill supply depots (like how terrans can float rax into base and make firebats), give vision, used to form a wall, etc.
I also feel that the usage of infested terrans can be incorporated more if you already have an infested cc. One way I thought about using them would be as a pseudo nuke: drop 2 infested terrans on a cc and then have a queen follow up with the infest. Cost-wise, you're spending 200/100 to take down a cc + some (if not most) of its scvs. It's more cost effective than a nuke, you're not spending extra on tech. I think its usage is definitely worth exploring. Sadly, we don't get many games where we even see queen usage in ZvT...
I hope more zergs in the proscene start using Queens!
Infested terrans are absolutely terrible against terran, *especially* mech. They cost a crapton more than zerglings but are only slightly more durable, so you're almost never going to get them to actually blow anything up.
Yes, I'm aware that they're paper and die really easily, but in my post I was talking about using them strategically, not as part of your main army. If you combine them with drops, I think it is possible to get them to blow up especially under swarm, getting rid of clumped tanks quickly.
Unfortunately unless maps with neutral CCs show up again, I doubt we will ever see their usage in pro PvZs again

They're pretty good against 'toss, though.
Wait what? You know they destroy unit immediately and spawn from its remains?

Lolwut, what mod of sc have you been playing? That sounds awesome haha Edit: i think you're confusing spawn broodling with infested terran

ZerO vs Kal on Holy World, a map that has a neutral CC in the center. It was fucking hilarious

To the guy that says Infested Terran are bad vs Tanks. Dude have you see NGSoulkey's overlord drop style on top of tanks with ultralisks? Imagine THAT with Infested Terran, Infested Terran does splash dmg and one-kill tanks so one of those can easily take out 4 to 5 tanks if dropped right.
