EPTAlmost all bio pushes I've seen lately are 4 rax as opposed to 6 rax, which leads me to believe that the Koreans believe that a heavier tank emphasis with minimal MM for possibly just dealing better with shuttles and being less vulnerable to marines is more optimal.

This is a timing attack, you don't exactly have a ton of time to go multiple techs, and zealot speed isn't even that great vs it anyways, unless you can get a LOT of zealots. To get a LOT of zealots you have to be building htem for a while, including the duration in which speed is researching, meaning you'll have a fuckton of slow zealots, and will get DOMINATED. | ||

At that sort of timing, the protoss doesn't have a lot of tech to use against the terran (no legs, no storm unless he purposely saw it really early). Stimmed marines have one of the highest DPS and they simply chew through shields like it was nothing, as long as you macro and position your army well it can be pretty damn difficult for the protoss to stop. Also would do pretty well agaist two base carriers as carriers are god awful against marines. | ||

Flash used this exact same build against Jaehoon in the KT vs MBC match and rolled over him too. Grape put up a much better fight because he actually had units. | ||
