You'd think he'd have learned something from his first 4 finals. Even when he won he almost blew it and he won by outclassing a (at that time) new player who felt happy just to be in the finals.
But that's Stork for you.
Well all he had to practice w/ was Khan Terrans, and look where that got in
he expressed such confidence in them, but none of them are nowhere near the caliber of Fantasy. Was a complete mistake for Stork not to pursue Flash's help, or the next best Terran available (Leta or Baby I guess)
He should have just asked his close friend Sea. Poor preparation.
For those saying "Why fantasy not on top of power ranks WT?", he was 3rd last time, before blundering in some of his matches and was in a slight bit of a slump to finish the year off, so he fell out of the top 10. He looks like he has come out of it now, though. Seeing a lot of great play from him as of late (even breaking his 0-4 to Soul_key finally by winning in proleague).

Stork has some fetish with reavers that he will need to drop before he beats fantasty.
i hate on him for playing like shit recently and then he pulls out brilliant stuff like this... the cycle then repeats. without oov i'm sure he would suck.
To all of the newer players / sc2 fans: Stork isn't playing bad, he is just getting outplayed and countered by fantasy who is playing fantastically well. Stork still had some nice moves here and there

Or you could not even try to break it, and just let it slowly eat you alive.
Your move, man =x
Except it wasn't a pathetic push. He had as many tanks as stork had goons at some point.
At the moment where I said that, I think if Stork showed some guts he could have done away with it, especially with reinforcements (defender's advantage). He had to charge in with his shuttle (ignore the wraith, let the shuttle die) and drop zeals on the tanks though.
The longer he waited, the harder it got for him to achieve anything. He ran all his probes away from his 3rd so he didn't even have much of an economic advantage to try and ride out.
By the time Stork got his shuttle back, Fantasy was firmly in position. Once Fantasy got to snipe that first shuttle, he knew it was his push would be ridiculously hard to break.
Plus, Fantasy had a wraith flying around the entire around, ready to shoot down that shuttle. Stork's PvT play really walks the fine line, and depends almost entirely on keeping his shuttle alive while expanding as much as he can. These games are the first time we've seen Stork lose his Shuttle early on, and look at how devastating Fantasy's sick timing pushes were w/o having to deal w/ the shuttle.
Why are people saying Stork had poor execution? Ok game 2 was not that great from Stork's perspective, but game 1 was pretty close . . . if Fantasy hadn't gotten that one critical emp during his push on 2-3 templars, the ending battle would have gone very differently. Likewise he was moving goons to intercept the dropship that was heading toward 12, and they would have if Fantasy hadn't laid clutch mines on that high ground ledge with a vulture flank. And he had cannons at 12 too, so if Fantasy's drop had been 4 vults it wouldn't have been nearly as effective.
Game 2 he saw the fast wraith and figured Fantasy was also going for tech and upgrades like he did last game. Unfortunately for him Fantasy had no armory and was massing up for a deadly 2-base timing push, so he punished Stork for the mis-read.
Who cares who Stork had to practice with? Fantasy just rolled Stork on Gladiator and Aztec. Watch the TvPs played so far on those maps - it's not easy. This is thus far a HEROIC effort, coupled with an underwhelming showing by Stork (but it's a final so that's not surprising).
Excellent games so far, now all we need is a sick comeback from Stork to send this final into history. Let's just hope he doesn't: 1) do the same build again 2) choke
