Is it me or terran are slumping really fucking hard theses days? Leta plays shit, Flash is out everywhere, Fantasy is the shadow of what he was, Light ans Sea LOL, rookies like Ssak seems promising and then lose to Jaehoon... Sad days to be a terran. Is it the map pool? | ||

by.Sun and Ssak are indeed promising and win more than lose in PL which is awesome for T1. And putting Best into ACE was really ballsy cuz he isn't on his top form and even lost another game before ACE match but still coach decides to put Best instead of Bisu. | ||

Is it the map pool? It's hard to say whether Light is slumping or not because his TvP has always been bad and he's had no luck with match-ups. Jaehoon has only lost one PvT this season and that was to a Bogus bunker rush. So Ssak just had a bad day. But Sea, Flash, Fantasy and Hiya are all slumping. In Sea's case, I don't think it's the map pool. He was playing well until he lost to Shine twice. So it's probably just a lack of confidence right now. | ||

There is a problem with Terrans of both teams imo : SKT Terrans were out-expanded every time (bad macro maybe) and MBC Terrans lost due to holes in the defense line (bad positioning). | ||

Is it the map pool? Well, terran are slumping really fucking hard for a couple of years already. Name one terran which acomplished something in the past seasons. Hm? Nobody except Flash of course. Then it's only logical that when Flash fails, there's nobody to step in. | ||

Sending Best to play a team basically made up by two terrans, one who is slumping heavily and another who is just really bad at TvP, is the RIGHT decision always because its the single matchup he can actually play. Macro and 1a2a3a at the right time and angles is the easiest thing for guys like Stork and Best to do against weaker TvPers. MBC had to win before the ACE match because no one on their team can deal with a protoss right now. | ||

And mbc can't really send a zerg to snipe anyways since skt's other two ace choices would steamroll them. mbc pretty much has to send light/sea, more so the latter since the former is bad vs p. Best is proably the best vT on skt atm. ---- and stop slumping fanta | ||

He also beat Best on Grandline SE last season. But usually Sea is the one who practices this map for Ace. Edit: Actually MBC is not just a Terran team anymore. Light+Sea = 20 wins in proleague. Jaehoon+Tyson = 19 wins in proleague. | ||

I totally called it in the stream chat that SKT would send BeSt to counter an MBC Terran. Makes more sense sending BeSt when MBC was likely to send either Sea or Light rather than Bisu. | ||
