I've been looking forward to this match this entire week. As I'm sure a lot of you had no trouble noticing, I'm a STX fanboy, and this is probably their most difficult task up to now, but worse is yet to come.
Hite Entus should have been the new superstar team of the Proleague. Unfortunately, with the departure of Effort, Cho and Iris, their team has lost a lot of its backbone. Not to say that they aren't doing respectably - they just recently defeated Woongjin and are owning it up in the individual leagues, but still lack a strong ace and all-round players. Hydra has performed better than was expected, and Horang2 is a beastly choice for Central Plains. Both Snow and Movie showed us some great PvZ, so this should most definitely help, and SkyHigh & Leta, while not really "solid" this season, could very well give a scare to anyone opposing the new Grand Archon, especially Terrans. Will they be able to keep it up today? Or will their victory over Woongjin be considered a fluke? This match might be the start of a rampage.
What does STX have to counter? An even deeper lineup, and great variety, but the players, even the aces, are known to break easily under pressure or in certain matchups.While Calm and Kal performed very decently just days ago, Kal's match against Shine and Calm's regrettable loss to Killer present at least great shadows of doubt. While they have won, both players vs. T feels shaky, and Hite might seek to exploit such weakness.
This match could have any result whatsoever due to the unpredictability of the players facing one-another, and I'm excited. Due to fanboyism reasons, I predict STX to win, if only because of Kal's beautiful games against Bisu. On the other hand, I wouldn't call them favorites by a long shot.

Horang2 vs Shuttle, to be expected. Both playing their main maps, pretty straight forward lineup, just gonna be a showdown of pure strength then.
Horang2's PvP is not too shabby, but I still Shuttle has the better macro (one of Horang2's strengths, so that becomes negligible), and a better understanding of the match-up/map in general (as evidenced by his cute timing attack last time he played PvP), so I'm feeling good.

Classic got caught by mutas and lost his entire main rather quickly to them. Things spiralled downhill from there.

hogil basically just killed classic's turrets at his natural while classic pushed out with his marines not doing anything except killing hogil's third... then hogil realized that classic wasn't defending his turrets with infantry and just killed the turrets in his main, and then everything else. yep.

They might have thought Modesty would be a good choice for the all-in strategy they had in mind. He has good mutalisk control... in ZvZ.

its funny. modesty really has no idea how to control units that arent mutas or lings.
the only bright side of that game was that at one point leta irradiated so many lurkers so fast that it the vessel equivalent of jangbi storms lol

Perhaps Coach Cho thought Hite might be sending out Orion given that Leta was in a deep slump and Skyhigh is weak against anything but TvT.

I think the issue with STX is more than "lol shit coach". Seems like they don't really have much fighting spirit, the same thing that seems to be plaguing KT right now.
As vague as that might be, motivation obviously makes people play well. Khan's rookies are given air time and important positions on their teams and they're now crushing everyone...same goes for Perfectman, who actually has to play to win instead of letting Hiya/Jaedong do all of the work.
