Down 0-1, WeMade Fox finds itself down in a huge hole against the mighty MBC Game Hero team. Despite the disappointment of their Ace player Baby, WeMade must find find a way to overcome all adversity and step up their play. However, huge question marks surround the WeMade team.
Will Baby be able to find his lost socks? That mojo that had him hyped as the next big thing has disappeared as of late. Will he be able to recover that spark?
Which Mind will show up to play? The one that destroyed Bisu in the MSL Finals or the one that lost to Jaehoon yesterday?
Does WeMade have an answer to MBC's Terrans? WeMade's aces Baby and Roro had no answers for the Sea/Light combo of MBC.
But if it's the time for players to step up, this is the correct time to do so. On the biggest stage, in front of countless fans cheering for their favorite players and teams. This is where champions are born, where anything goes.
Who will show the true heart of a champion tonight? Can WeMade step their game up? We'll see tonight!
PS: WeMade, you let Jaehoon and Hyun win. How? If you let those two win, of course you're gonna lose.

I think Wemade is going to take today's match. They're the better team, but MBC has all the kinds of things you want in the playoffs; a clever coach, experience, guile, and passion. This is a 2-1 series, either way. But Roffles is right, you can't let Hyun and Jaehoon beat you.

It's one thing if the matches are separete, but the playoff sets are linked so closely that it almost doesn't make sense to watch day2 without knowing what happened day 1.

You're in a LR thread for WeMade/MBC playoffs. Spoilers for the other sets (SKT/CJ) would be spoilers, but there is nothing wrong with discussing the games tonight (or lineup) in comparison to yesterday's WeMade/MBC set. It's bound to happen, especially if the commentary is the exact same build happening.
You expect people to go "oh wow, what an unfortunate strategy, shame he couldn't have known it wouldn't work or anything". I'm guessing in the case of a bo3 of bo7s, people who LR for day 2 are either aware of the games on day 1, or are willing to live with it, or they wouldn't LR. Why do you have to mention anything about the other series? It may not reveal right away, but assuming that a limited number of matches, there eventually will be a spoiled result.

a little late but tyson must be really nervous. horrible reaver/dt control earlier on. could have done massive damage.

Besides, skt and cj is simply more popular than mbc vs wemade because of the players.
There's sea, light, slumping baby, and a nada that doesn't play in the playoffs. Compared to osl/msl finalists fantasy, effort, bisu, movie, best, iris, plus the the rising star, snow.

Man it sucked that baby lost to the same strategy twice in a row. Playing off of that why did this round turn into a cheese fest? Mind was emotional during his game..more so than usual. I wonder what he said when he broke into the toss base? I loved every second of that game. It got annoying that MBC just kept cheesing and making the games go for less than 10 min. but sometimes they showed up on the wrong end of their cheese. ^^ All good in my eyes. I just want to see a return of the genius.

My thoughts on Day 3:
Today really showcased how MBC really has nobody but Light and Sea, and even they aren't infallible. Sea just got straight up handled by Pure in this match. Tyson has performed pretty well, but I don't think he's actually that skilled - more on a megahot streak, and playing with a lot of confidence. Of course, that can be enough to win games against superior opponents (see his game vs. Midas), but it won't last.
I'm predicting 4-2 WeMade tomorrow. Some combination of 2 of Sea, Light, and Tyson will win, but beyond that, MBC has nothing. Jaehoon is bad, Saint is lulz, Peace has barely above a freaking 1950 ELO, Hyun can win sometimes but can't be depended on (he usually only wins because he either cheeses or reacts really well to an opponent's failed cheese), Koala and IrOn don't play, and Pusan is Pusan. Meanwhile, on WeMade's side... Baby is slumping hard, sure, but RoRo is usually dependable when it counts (as long as it's not an ace match), Midas is performing incredibly well, Pure is actually good, Mind is usually pretty good, Shine is playing well, and hell, even NaDa is still winning games. WeMade also has Major, but I don't think he'll be played.
Basically, as long as it doesn't go to ace match, WeMade should have this. Unless somebody scrubs or they send out BaBy and he gets destroyed again, I'm going to say 4-2 (or even better, 4-1 if MBC tries to keep Light/Sea in reserve until Game 6).
But we will see. MBC is still a very good team, Tyson is capable of surprising people. Light and Sea are both monsters. And if it goes to Ace, WeMade has only BaBy (who is in no condition to ace right now) and RoRo (who never was).
Either way, I'm looking forward to it. GLHF MBC fans!

If WeMade wins over MBC (and Baby remembers how to play a build other than 14CC, or at least scout early and adapt), they have a decent chance at making the finals imo (or at least to STX, who by now may have stopped slumping, we won't know until we see them play again). If MBC wins tomorrow though, they'll get rolled by CJ/SKT easily.

I think MBC has the best 2 players in the series. But I think WeMade has the deeper team. Once you get past Sea and Light, the rest of the team is just fucking lol. Jaehoon, Hyun, Tyson, and whatever. On the flip side, I'd take the entire WeMade top 6 over Jaehoon, Hyun, and Tyson any day. Roro, Shine, Midas, Mind, Baby, Pure.
Tyson was fortunate that Midas' 2 fact was sooooooo late. Almost had like no chance of working really. Sea just got outplayed by Pure, and MBC scrubs weren't able to make up for that loss. But if MBC can somehow scrap together 3 wins and get it to an Ace match, then I'd have to give them like a 75% shot at winning. Baby's in terrible form at the moment, and is probably WeMade's best Terran killer. Wouldn't trust Roro or Shine to do it, and I'd be hesitant to play Midas or Mind.
I've gotta say that Pure might be the best Terran killer and overall the best choice if it comes to an Ace match. He's shown in the past that he's capable of all three matchups at a very solid level. Not great, but very solid. And sometimes that solid play is good enough to net a win, as he did vs Sea. Very solid overall play with good execution led to a very easy win. But if I were a betting man, I'd say 4-2 WeMade or 4-3 MBC.
If MBC advances to the next round, they won't be as fortunate, as both SKT and CJ have top notch Terran killers.

I would actually say that the chances of any of the remaining teams to get to the finals are pretty equal. For MBC and Wemade it will probably come down to the shape of players that day. Neither SKT nor CJ really looked like they will easily win against them.
