2010 Shinhan Bank Proleague Round 4 Week 7 (OGN) vs. MBCGame HERO vs. Hwaseung OZ Sunday, May 23 4:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) Lineups will be announced before each match.
This MBCGame HERO is not the same one that destroyed the league not too long ago. I'd say this is mostly due to Light not destroying all competition as he was before, and Sea coming out of a little 4 loss slump. Although they were 2-0 last week... They had a very hard time disassembling ACE. So I still distrust in their ability to play at their previous level. In the end though, Sea is still Sea, and Light is still Light. Let's hope they reclaim some of their previous glory.
Hwaseung OZ is not looking hot right now. Not too long ago I was saying HiyA had finally stepped it up and was worthy of playing alongside The Dong. While I still see that prediction coming true at some time in the future, I must admit he isn't as good as I thought he was. Or maybe hes just having a bad week. But then again I think the most important aspect of a good player is consistency. So to be the much needed second strong player, he needs to step up his game. Bring it to ace HiyA so they can send Killer and lose! Oh OZ... What are ya doing nowadays : /
OZ likes to send Jaedong first. And MBC has two good Terrans with a possibility of stopping him. I doubt they risk Sea just to try and beat Jaedong, though. So Light comes out instead. Game of the night.
Sea vs Killer/HiyA. I'm not sure which. It'll probably depend on the outcome of the first match. I think they are going to save HiyA for Grand Line, for some reason. This match has some potential, but it'll probably be Sea rolling over Killer.
HiyA might not be in top form, but I think that he still has enough skill to beat HyuN. Despite HyuN's very enjoyable/amazing ZvZ recently! Go check it out!
The BackHo returns! Hopefully his little break has brought him to some great realization and he starts messing kids up. This is a good map to get started on.
Hiya, please get your shit together so this goes to Ace.
I hope Jaedong rapes Light as payback for Winner's League, and then proceeds to rape Sea in the Ace match. Normally, I would love to see long and close games, but with the MSL finals coming up, I want Jaedong to be in total domination mode.
Although, I'm not sure if Jaedong playing two Terrans is good or bad. On one hand, he gets practice against two really solid Terrans (assuming it's Light and Sea) but, on the other hand, it's more stuff that's available for Flash to analyze in preparation.

I would agree that Flash would have more info available on JD, but judging from Flash's past strategy flexibility, I would say it's better for JD to get some practice against high teir terrans. Besides, JD's build arsenal and in game flexibility is extremely difficult to prepare for even with a lot of VODs. :p

Yeah... I'm just saying if they play Lomo.. then they are probably not going to play Backho... then again Polaris is a really P friendly map... Hmm..

Jaedong didnt panic and sent his lings down to open his ramp.
JD was luckey he didnt lose his hatch
It was either killing hatch or lose all mutalisks, Peace had to save his mutalisks you know?
Peace had so many more lings than JD that if he'd just A-moved JD's natural while distracting JD's Mutas, it would have been a very different game. Either JD continues to pursue Peace's mutas (in which case he'll lose his natural) or he sends his Mutas back to help defend in which case Peace loses a lot less Mutas (and possibly even escapes with most of his lings as he'll notice the second JD turns his Mutas around).
Either way, had Peace simply A-moved his lings, he would have been in a much, much better position. Not saying he would have won, but JD was lucky that his opponent screwed up (I know his intimidation can cause that, just saying).
Also it's worth noting that had Peace's multitasking been even better and he'd managed the lings at JD's natural instead of just A-moving, he could have done even more.

During the big muta fight/chase that peace lost his lings weren't attacking the hatchery.
i think it wouldn't have mattered either way. if peace sacced his lings to kill the hatch, they would have had equal air forces but jaedong would have the superior ground force and probably be able to pull out the win. peace's expo was at 3/4 when he backed off from attacking jaedong's expo.
Yeah I think if Peace killed the hatch JD would have just gone for the kill right there, as Peace's mutas were getting hit constantly while trying to escape.

Pretty sure they were for a bit, then they stopped. And JD would've turned his mutas around sooner and used his lings on the ramp if he had to. That hatch was never going down.

If he Peace had gone for the Hatch it would have been strictly better than not going for it. JD definitely might still have just won immediately, point is just all it took was one click and he didn't do it.

Wait, so did peace not a-move his lings or did he?

There was still the threat of mutas running into his main, JD was almost fully focused on the air battle anyway and that number of lings takes down a hatch very fast.
Even if Peace was in a bad position to begin with he made it quite a bit worse.

Yeah I agree, I was confused as hell when I saw the hatch didn't die actually. I think letting the hatch live kept Peace in the game for a few minutes more though, haha.
There you go. Replay. Hatch was not being attacked for merely a few seconds? And JD gave chase for ages. JD was still managing his units at the nat as you see his drone run away.
Hatch was never ever going down.
Edit: but yes Peace should have been attacking it with all lings earlier, instead of 1/2. He would've saved many of his mutas, not that it mattered =P

Ah I didn't see the replay, but if you're so sure I'm not going to argue.

Sorry for being unclear. My point was had he even A-moved, it would have helped, but if he'd A-moved plus multitasked a bit, he probably could have done a lot.

The point is not that the Hatch would go down. The point is that there's a chance it would have caused Jaedong to pull his Mutas back instead of pursuing, thus saving lots of Peace's Mutas.

Agreed. But people were saying that Peace could have actually killed the hatch, which is not the case.
