-Date: 27. 3. 2010 - 15:00 CET (If the playerlist is big, the last round could be postponed to another day.)
-Checkin: 14:30 CET
-Max. Players: 512 Players
-Signup: via inCup (ingame.de-Account needed)
-Chaoslauncher will be used for Lan Latency Download
-Turniermodus: Bo1 till top 16, Bo5 till quaterfinals
Top 4 players of this Tourney will win 1 beta key, another 3 betakeys will be given out randomly to any player who played atleast 1 game in the tourney.
No "freewins or walkover" allowed, u need to play every match or u will be disqualified. Even if u are in finals, u have to play your game or u will be disqualified (and u won't get a key).
All replays must be uploaded.
Information about participation and key allocation
We would prefer people who have no access to the Beta yet. Therefore people who already got a Beta key are NOT allowed to participate. These prizes are not transferable and cannot be transferred from one player to another because the winners get Starcraft 2 Beta Access direct onto their battle.net accounts. The admins of inStarcraft are not allowed to participate.

I get "Cannot sign up. You have to set a scene name. " but can't find where to do it in german.

Just click the "My Battle.net Account" after logging in.
I don't understand a word of German but it only took a minute of clicking around to sign up for this.

hahaha that would have a chain reaction so if one person doesn't show up, the whole tournament is disqualified

We just want to be carefully so noone makes several accounts and try to give some friends freewins.
Admins will decide about walkovers...
blizzard supported insc.de with 17 betakeys for events.
So the tournament will be played on blizzards server.

why can't i sign up? upon entering the data, nothing happened and after reentering it said "the e-mail address is used by another user" -.- this happened twice to both my e-mail addresses. now i can't participate. lol. didn't receive any confirmation on my e-addresses either.

You should read rules carefully before whining / getting angry about them. There's obviously no penalty for receiving a walkover win.

BTW - the rule is to stop people playing until they are in a key-receiving position and then leaving because they already got a key.

My 1st round opponent was really bad, he had like 'worse than PC' builds but still knew to pull workers to attack zerglings... made me wonder if a lot of people didn't just spam a ton of accounts and get 1 quick game off on each to maximise their chances of a random key draw.

Tourney is annoying because the replay uploading doesn't work so there are like very 100 people trying to get admins to manually report their matches.
So far I'm 2-0 with a dt FE in PvT and a 4 gate zeal rush PvP.

I tried to get Oportune and TemujiN to play these games and send reps to an admin for later casting but temujin was afk all the time T_T Also checking op insc.de and op instarcraft.de on Europe B.Net but no one is ever there (at least in my times).

What's going on with this, according to some translating of this page a bunch of people didn't get keys for not sending account data? What!? I was never told about this, the admin just said "check your inbox for email". Since all the newsposts were in German how was I suppose to understand that we were meant to send details? This is ridiculous...
I'll email them now and hope for the best I guess.

I'm afraid this whole thing was a scam. I feel sorry for the time I made to participate in this (not really smoothly run tournament), cause I had to move around a few things. So many days and still no sign from any of the organizers to inform anyone what the hell is going on, even to say they're going to take an extra week or so. Just terrible attitude and the worst publicity for their site.

LOL what a joke I got TemujiN and Opportune in contact several times and the tournament admin was simply never around in the channel and never told them how to have their final game, and never turned up when they said to have it.

Final winner is of little importance since all 4 first get a key. What's important is for all the keys to be given out. Have the 4 winners got their keys at least?

I got this email saying I got one of the keys because one of the 4 winners didn't email for theirs.
I purposely made a bnet account and attached a sc1 cd key for this after getting the email.
