i totally dont understand why JD got offered a rematch unless KESPA screwed him by using a diff version of the map.

Are there source for giving a re-match, not because he is some champion that gives them TV ratings? If he rematch the game that would seriously fucked their mindset.
This faulty AI is same as reaver shooting a scarab, what the fuck can the player do about it? Other than unit placements. If Protosses were to miss a scarab and given re's then hell would raise.

seriously >.> at least the mistake jaedong made is avoidable, just dont morph lurkers next to doodads that can fuck with their AI. completely dont understand why jaedong gets a rematch option while everyone else whos had a random fuck-up doesnt. wasnt there a time where a lurk got trapped between a cliff and a critter and died cause of it? that person didnt get a regame did he?

that was against boxer :O so ofc not!!

??????? I'm sorry, where did you hear this information? I speak fluent Korean and I didn't hear anything like this during the broadcast. What I heard was this:
Commentators: Had Jaedong paused the game as soon as his lurkers had glitched/hopped into the reef barrier, then Kespa possibly might have offered a regame, if they believed the mistake was rather due to the map, than to Jaedong. However, because JD did not request a pause during the game, and instead played on, it was impossible to offer a regame because he had already lost and it would have been disadvantageous to Baby.
In summary, the crucial distinction was that JD did not request the pause right after the incident occured; that was his mistake. However, even if he had requested the pause, Kespa might have turned him down anyway, possibly saying that it was his fault he morphed his hydras so close to map artifacts.
So, am I wrong? Did Kespa actually offer JD a regame?

Jaedong could've asked for a regame (which the refs would've allowed)
FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK lol, what are you talking about? They don't allow a regame for morphing a lurk in a spot where it could possibly wall-hop. They don't re-game when they do it on purpose, so why would they regame if they do it on accident? Because it is a flaw in the map and that is the rules of Kespa? Jeezes haven't you guys watched old games where drones would get stuck on ramps in RH3? ANyways Jaedong didn't type PPP so it's the end

Jaedong fanboys need to quit crying over a game he probably would have lost any ways. And even had he won this game he would have been roflstomped without cheese in set 3 since BaBy's mechanics were so much shaper than Jaedong's at every point in the second game.
Watch the game again I really don't think a 3rd lurker would have helped much at all in that situation. Yea maybe soak up a bit of fire but he didnt even damage the second bunker and barely took down the first with 2 lurkers and lings. BaBy prepared well and Outplayed Jaedong.

To clarify my translation, I translated it during a live game. The second the lurkers got stuck, the commentators said "This should be a regame" Throughout the game they commented how map mistakes such as these isn't anyone's fault. However as the 1st set ended and during the transition to 2nd set game, the commentators have said "We have to ask the referees about this" and before the ref could get Jaedong's opinion, jaedong just wanted to move on.
So in the end, we will never ever know. So stop making assumptions from both sides.

just got around to watching these and baby vs jd game 2 was just amazing. I was shaking my head during the muta harass, but when he got to jd's 3rd, the battles were incredible. He used every chance he got to snipe an extra lurker and just built up small edges over time. Baby kept playing better and better and jd looked like he eventually just got tired from having to keep pushing baby back.
I'm so happy baby got to this point. Ever since his debut game (against jd), I've been watching him closely because all the little things he does really add up.

Obviously he had no chance without it, though. To defend a Lurker All In you need atleast 3 bunkers Baby had 2 Jaedong would've won. You speak with such certainty it makes me sick.. Starcraft is a game where nothing is certain, most people probably would say that hero would won game 3 if it was paused.. This is Jaedong. Whatever, to me it looked like one more lurker wouldnt matter much, but i didnt came here and talk hey, 100% loose for jaedong Mr hoon..
Q: What do you have to say about the Lurker that got stuck against (T)BaBy? A: It’s my fault for morphing there. Although it’s disappointing, I would have lost even if it weren’t stuck so I don’t have anything to say.
A lot of people here were like "jaedong would win bla bla bla".. Here it is, from Jaedong him self. Please stop being so "certain", thanks..

Suprising to see Jaedong not pass this Group. Unfortunate for the glitched lurker. Having 1 more lurker may have broken Baby's front defenses.
With Jaedong out, Protoss won't be instantly eliminated anymore. That's good since I like to see more of Flash's TvP rather than his TvZ which we know is already godly.

It was a map mistake, but it could be have been prevented by JD. This mindless fanboyism is annoying. Baby deserved to win

Zerg is the best race in the game atm.

Yeah I mean what with the four zerg players in both finals recently and the dominance of zergs in PL/WL.
