And how about losing to Kwanro in a Bo3 because he did the same mistake twice?

A lot of S class players tend to struggle in prelims, because there's SO MUCH INFORMATION (VODs and even replays) about them but there's a lot less information the S class players have about "the average progamer" like Baby.
Because of this, less known progamers have that advantage over really well known progamers: the former can really prepare specialized builds against the latter, whereas the latter have far less to go on in preparing for a series.
The longer you stay on top, the more often you have to diversify your play. Because no matter what, Korean progamers will study your play styles and builds to death and if they see a pattern that can be exploited, they WILL exploit it.
I don't see this as a "Jaedong slump" or anything like that. It's just really tough to play in the OSL prelims as an S class player because everyone knows you and you might not know them as well.

I agree with the point in your post SuperArc, but you're saying Flash has no talent for mech? XD Flash has played some of the most perfect mech games of all time, his turtling skills are insane.
I still haven't recuperated from the shock caused by JD getting knocked out like this...  I guess he's human after all.

Pseudomech is the appropriate word. No one was using mech those seasons except for the Upmagic variation and the Heavy gol low tank push variation.
Flash's Pseudomech was horrible and the only time it worked was vs Hoejja in GOM. Hey, atleast A2 beat JD with it in WCG, so it has a use.

I saw that game live. Thats why I said pseudomech and not mech, remember when he used to do that horrible goli/mnm build? Thats what Superarc was talking about

That actually worked really well against 90% of zerg builds. Problem was that Flash tipped his hand too early by playing it a lot in proleague, and Yarnc/JD hard-countered it and knocked him out of the OSL.

Man, don't even know who to follow now in the OSL. Ohh well, atleast it's a "nice" opportunity to find some new guy to follow. Bisu and Jaedong clearly doesn't cut it at the moment unfortunatly (not that I am giving up on them though!). They will be back, mark my words!
