I'm not to sure that lomo was way ahead the game as some say here.

Even tho hydra lost his 3rd, he had mined at least a few extra gas from it and wasn't there a time where (foreign) zergs used a fast upgrade/ultra build from 2 base which wasn't too weak?

I haven't seen the whole game so it's more a question than a opinion.

Even with crazy zerg losing your third gas base is pretty fucking huge, and Lomo kept expos down for a good while - that built up gas can only last you so much while the terran can just constantly pump mnm. Hydra did good (from what I saw of that slideshow) in keeping ultras alive and killing SV. If Lomo had built up a fleet of SV then Hydra wouldn't have had a chance.
