the replay shows free with great storming taking out large chunks of the hydra/lurk army. his macro was strong enough to break out of the contain and charge into lux's grill.
he did try to drop..but free scouted 1 of them, and the second was denied by cannons. But Free is a PvZ king and luxury is yea.... so these things will happen.
Well at one point it looked so grim for free... but he slowly pushed out with some brilliant storms... built up his army... and wasted away all the hydra/lurkers... then all of a sudden he was holding lux over a table and 71'ing him

free has over the course of his gaming career been known as one of the solid protosses against zerg (especially in late game). he's one of the only two tosses to have winning records against jaedong (the other being stork) including a series win in a MSL (amazing 3rd game against jaedong). prior to the rise of bisu, i believe it was him and much who basically held down the fort in pvz.
perhaps he's no longer the pvz virtuoso he once was, but free is still one of the upper pvzers out there.

Have you seen his games against JD? You might not be able to call him a PvZ king right now but he was and still is definitely really good at PvZ.

Yea, he shouldn't have lost that. However, Free was impressive with his cannon defense, okay with his scourge use, but on top with his macro and storms.

free has always had an awesome pvz, but i thought prior to bisu it was nalra holding the fort

Barracks does the ballsy thing and drops by MVP's factories.... literally the only thing that could possibly salvage this game, but he gets his ass handed to him.
This is the most stunning come back I have ever seen. I have never been so sure that a player was going to lose and then have them pull it out before in all the hundreds of star craft games I have watched.

and now ktflash has an absurdly high chance of winning. i can't see c-h beating violet and when it comes down to ace flash is a sure bet against either zero or free seeing as he's practicing both matchups (in addition to just being flash).
although it's also possible that violet will be the ace choice of ktf seeing as kt seems to be wanting to give flash a break. if that's the case, i feel that zero can take down violet.
wow i went to go do my homework when barracks' factories were getting seiged and mvp was taking the entire map and i come back like 6 minutes later to see barrack with a 70 advantage in supply and a snakelong line of tanks.
wow best game of the night was actually c-h vs violet! with a close second being either free vs lux or barracks vs mvp, depending on which massive comeback you'd like to see.

Crazy hydra's game to qualify in msl were very impressive, I'am happy Woongjin coach finally makes him play (good for my FPL ). His defense and multitasking were very good in this game.
MVP is so bad, fortunately Crazy-Hydra saved the day. I wish the Stars would just start using Sair, he's not good but he really can't do any worse than MVP.
I do find it amusing that apparently Barracks was surprised by wraiths though. MVP goes for Wraiths in every single TvT, how could you possibly be surprised by it?

Thing is this week's losses could be very career damaging to Flash.
He probably went with the mindset "I wanna win against Movie/Kwanro, but my team has two matches. So I'll prepare for one, my team will do the rest."
Unfortunately the one game was a TvT but knowing him he still prepared not to let his team down. But he didnt prepare as good as he would do in a normal week. Now in the game he played they lost 0-3 and in this one 1-3. Thats not even close to a win, especially if he doesnt play the Ace game.
This time its not a problem since KT had a stellar R1 performance. But what about a next time? When he is forced to choose between SL and PL again and KT isnt in such a favourable position?
KT (Violet, Lux) really chose the worst moment to turn into horrible mode.
BTW I am sure Flash will win at least one his BoX this week.
