His main had no drones, and the last shot of his expo showed two or three drones. Of course, he has built more since then, but I was pointing out that Calm's econ was in shambles as well. Of course, YellOw was in worse shape...

Meh. I suppose this is also a type of momentum. When you start losing, you just keep on losing. Ruby need to get his shit together, go back out there and start owning again. What happened to Darkelf and his "I am competing against Ruby for the spot of Ace of ACE."
Btw, you gotta admit this is a pretty awkward situation for Ruby. He is like the best of ACE, which is filled with ancient legends of the past who got titles and fame under their name. What's ACE supposed to do? Look up to Ruby and ask for advice when they all got bigger belts under them and old enough to be Ruby's coach's coach? What's Ruby supposed to do? Give advice and work together with his teammates like equals when he is like a rookie compare to the rest of ACE?
Right now, Much is in the same shoes as Anytime when he first entered. Much still got enough skills left to destroy mid level players. But if ACE doesn't start showing better results and give morale boosts, his skill will just drop like a rock like Anytime did after he entered ACE.
As Oversky mentioned in his interview, being a part of ACE is completely unlike being a part of a regular e-sport team. ACE's purpose as a team, team composition and responsibility is very different. Your responsibility is more than just as a player. Being able to focus on the proleague and focus on practicing is very difficult.
